Chelsea Clinton Made This Ridiculous Claim

Progressive feminists are at it again, holding an event to discuss globalist issues with a focus on women empowerment.

The event was hosted by CARE, a left-wing group that operates under the banner of “foreign aid” and “humanitarianism”.

And this time, they were represented by their favorite new figurehead, Chelsea Clinton.

The Clintons can’t seem to let go of their mission to promote a socialist agenda throughout the world — with their family dynasty at the helm.

And at the event, Chelsea made the startling claim that “climate change” is the reason for the global oppression of women and child marriages in third-world countries.

The Daily Caller reports:

Prevalent themes of the event included “feminism” (framing females as oppressed relative to and by men across the entirety of human history), “social justice” (religious groups such as Muslims were framed as “marginalized” in America and the broader West; income and wealth inequality between varying groups), and positioning socialism as a remedy for poverty.

Despite the event’s stated concern in addressing “global poverty,” not a word was spoken on the value of property rights, free markets, the rule of law, free speech and expression, or representative government.

“Just listening to the concerns around education and climate change, women’s health, child marriage, access to technology, all of those are of course interconnected,” Clinton said. “We have to focus on each of them in their interconnectedness, as well as individual outrages that do demand our attention.”

Clinton and those participating in the CARE event spent most of the discussion examining the reasons why conservatives, led by President Trump, are causing all the ills of the world, like global poverty and the oppression of women in developing countries.

Chelsea Clinton has taken on the role as the new figurehead for her parents’ mission to destroy anyone who does not agree with their feminist, progressive ideology.

And where do these claims come from?

From any number of progressive groups who believe that the U.S. should embrace the globalist agenda of opening our borders to countless refugees, spread socialist propaganda like wealth redistribution and “free” healthcare, and claim that women will forever be oppressed by the male leaders of the world.

Think Progress is but one of these groups who backs Chelsea’s claim of climate change contributing to the oppression of women and children:

In poor and developing countries, women are often charged with the task of providing critical resources — mainly food and water — for their family. As climate change decreases water availability, the amount of time dedicated to collecting water might increase, leaving girls with less time to go to school and reinforcing the cycle of poverty. Women also make up the majority of the agricultural workforce in many developing countries, leaving them especially vulnerable to climate impacts like soil degradation and extreme weather.

Clinton and the feminist progressives attending the event don’t seem to question any other cause for their claim of oppression of women and children – and certainly do not lay blame on leaders like her parents who break the law to increase their own wealth and power, no matter who it hurts in the process.

Heatstreet reports:

The disgruntled Chelsea had some harsh words for those who don’t share her progressive ideology. They should be silenced if they don’t agree with Chelsea Clinton.

“I think though that we also have to recognize particularly at this moment that sexism is not an opinion, Islamophobia is not an opinion, racism is not an opinion, homophobia is not an opinion, jingoism is not an opinion,” she told the panel.

This appears to mean Chelsea doesn’t believe people who she considers racist, sexist, homophobic or Islamophobic—which could be practically anyone moderate-to-right-of-center lacks the basic right to speak their minds.

However, Clinton does not seem to acknowledge that at one time, her parents played a part in developing policies against which she now speaks out against.

Heatstreet continues:

That could, of course, include her own parents who, at one time, were virulently opposed to the practice of gay marriage, were instrumental in implementing the bizarre “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy that kept gays from open service in the military, who spoke strongly against Islamic fundamentalism, and who once labeled a class of criminal, “super-predators.”

Her thoughts didn’t end there. Asked to comment on “global poverty,” Clinton suggested that climate change and global warming were somehow “interconnected” with child marriage, a practice performed mostly in the Eastern world, and mostly the result of backwards cultural norms, not rising ocean tides and extreme temperature.

Although the progressive feminists themselves, in their quest for social justice, have caused many of the issues they claim to fight against, they continue to rail against anyone who disagrees with their flawed ideology.

The group attending the event seems to have forgotten any issues the Clintons themselves have helped to create, as well as their fervent quest for wealth and power, which would seem to go against the very message they claim to promote.

And that is a very good thing for Chelsea Clinton.  Everyone at the event shares her same delusional mindset, so they can’t point out the flaws in her argument.
