Our country has been thriving since President Trump took office in 2016, unemployment rates went down, international relations have had America first, and the economy has improved.
Yet with all these accomplishments, liberals want to stomp their feet and whine over their beloved Hillary losing, and a successful conservative occupying the Oval Office.
The left may as well be shouting “Down with America and everyone in it, as long as Trump is in charge!”
Shockingly, some liberals have been ignorant enough to state something just as abhorrent.
Sunday marked the 72nd Tony Awards, an event meant to honor the best performances and members of Broadway Theatre.
However, like every other celebrity event and award ceremony, it became a platform for anti-Trump rants.
Robert De Niro was supposed to come on stage and introduce Bruce Springsteen’s show but instead went into an abrupt sideshow.
The Federalist reported on the actor’s words:
“I’m gonna say one thing … F–k Trump,” De Niro declared with his fists in the air. “It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump,’ it’s ‘F–k Trump!’”
After De Niro immaturely took politics to a very personal level, the crowd cheered and gave a standing ovation.
This is not surprising seeming the audience was filled with liberal elites, whose egocentric attitude makes them void of respect and dignity for the country that has made them rich.
It would be worth noting this is not the first time De Niro has gone left field with his remarks against the President of the United States.
He has been quoted saying that Trump is a “mutt” and a “jerkoff-in-chief.” Once even stating toward Trump that he would like to “punch him in the face” which is a felony nonetheless.
The comments made toward our commander-in-chief were unintelligent, with no grounding in logic or policy, but what would we expect from a Democrat.
While these remarks were not intelligent, another celebrity known for their provocative comments was quoted saying something downright cruel.
On June 8th, in an episode of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the so-called comedian wished an ill fate on Americans, just to spite Trump.
Maher, in a discussion about the economy with Republican political consultant Shermichael Singleton, said:
“I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point. And by the way, I’m hoping for it. Because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So please, bring on the recession. Sorry if that hurts people, but it’s either root for a recession or you lose your democracy.”
So, this rich elitist, who would be able to withstand a recession, wishes that millions of American families struggle, lose their jobs, and wonder how they are going to care for their children, just so he can stick it to a man he doesn’t agree with.
This is sick on so many levels but goes to show that the liberal agenda has nothing to do with the prosperity and well-being of the American people.
We have seen the agenda take precedence over children many times, where they are used as pawns in an effort to demoralize the nation through identity politics.
The left is pushing to indoctrinate our children through the public school system, as Mommy Underground has reported.
And just like they try to convince us we have no say in what our children are being taught, it seems mainstream entertainment is giving the people no say in the censorship of the foul-mouthed liberals who are polluting the air stream.
Merely a week before Bill Maher’s excruciating show, the host of the show “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee”, Samantha Bee, said a crude discriminatory comment toward Ivanka Trump.
The President’s daughter posted a picture of her and her son on social media, meant to simply show the loving relationship between them.
Bee turned the picture around in a backwards way, calling Ivanka a “feckless c—t” who needed to talk to her dad about how immigration policies “separate children from their parents”, according to CNBC; which is, ironically, a decision that immigrants willingly choose after being made aware of the risks of coming into the country illegally or by asylum.
As the Federalist reported, it seems we
“have hit peak Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Trump has not stood idly by while these offenders have been trying to publicly humiliate him, he has been responding to the comments as seems appropriate.
We are in a crucial time in politics and as a culture, where conservative views are demonized by the mainstream media, and the liberal agenda is pushed as a saving grace to society.
However, we are also in a hopeful time, where we see a President taking a stand for moral absolutes, and going head to head with a public that is relentlessly trying to have anything go.
Conservatives are speaking up on the real issues that plague this nation, and legislation all over America is reflecting those efforts.
