Doing These Things Can Shape A Hard-Working Child

  1. Tell them it’s ok not to get it the first time

Nobody is perfect. With that being said, people rarely get the perfect result on their first attempt at every problem.

When your child is first learning to build a tower with their blocks, its likely to lack a strong foundation and come tumbling down.

Let them know that part of the fun is not only building a strong tower but figuring out how that is done.

Encourage them to not get upset at failing, and to keep working different designs until they find a working solution.

Learning how to be solution-oriented turns a problem into a learning experience the hard-working child can appreciate.

By teaching our own children to be resilient, we’re letting them know that part of success is failure, and that part of being hard-working is the willingness to try again.”
