LGBT Activists Just Took Over This “Christian” University, And What They Did Will Shock You

LGBT activists love college campuses, it’s their playground.

Where else can they find impressionable young minds, who are still finding themselves and discovering who they are?

But this latest move on a local college campus goes beyond the typical college student activist. In fact, Georgetown University officials just pulled a shocking move, which serves as a major blow to conservative students.

What’s even worse is this school is supposed to be rooted in Catholic tradition, but their latest stunt is anything but holy.

A proposal for LGBT-only campus housing was rejected, rightfully so.

But then suddenly in December, it was approved.

LifeSite News reported:

“The proposal for “‘The “Crossroads: Gender and Sexuality’ Living Learning Community (LLC) was initially rejected by the Office of Residential Life in April,” reports Campus Reform, which broke the story, “but was subsequently approved in December.”

According to the Campus Reform report, associate director of residential education Katie Heather “informed student Grace Smith, a leader of the LLC effort, that her proposal has ‘been approved and accepted for the 2018-2019 academic year.’”

Vice president of student affairs Todd Olson said the LGBT campus housing “will provide a community space for discussion on gender and inclusion while upholding the Jesuit values of community in diversity and educating the whole person.

“Our Catholic and Jesuit values call on us to engage with ‘respect, compassion, and sensitivity’ with our LGBTQ community,”

Olson continued in the Campus Reform report. “It is in keeping with our Catholic and Jesuit values to provide a language, perspective, and sense of inclusion for deepening our sense of cura personalis.”

Unbelievable.

To completely misrepresent the Bible, and claim that providing LGBT housing is somehow a “religious” matter, is simply untrue, and its heresy.

This move further confuses college students who are trying to do the right thing.

But of course, LGBT activists celebrated the victory, boasting that it happened in the name of religion.

LifeSite News continued:

“Grace Smith, head of the student government’s LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Policy Team, said in a Facebook posting that the move is “A REALLY BIG DEAL AT A JESUIT UNIVERSITY.”

“This means that students will now begin to have a unique residential space dedicated to exploring and understanding themselves and others in relation to gender and sexuality,” Smith continued.

“Congratulations to everyone who made this dream a reality.”

A unique place to “explore and understand” the LGBT lifestyle?

The trauma continues.

Instead of providing counseling to confused college students, they are encouraging the perversion of society to continue.

While this move is terrible at any university, the fact that a so-called Jesuit college campus is making this move, AND claiming that it’s holding true to traditional values is what’s most disheartening.
