Deep within, all good parents have the innate desire to protect and defend their children. And the love and ferocity every parent has for their child will lead them to put everything on the line to keep their child safe from harm.
And for one local father, protecting his children led him all the way to a showdown with the public-school board, as he refused to back down from the LGBT activist thugs.
In the latest attempt to pervert young children, LGBT activists insisted a certain type of “diversity curriculum” must be forced onto every student, even against the will of the child’s parent.
This means, teachers are free to go wild, and “teach” anything they want, all in the name of “diversity.”
A local father had enough, and actually sued the school district when they refused to give notice if they’d be teaching topics such as abortion, homosexuality, and other topics related to “gender identity.”
Naturally, the father wanted to be aware when such topics were being taught, so he could pull his child from the class, instead of forcing his children to be indoctrinated with left-wing political hogwash.
LifeSite News reported:
“The board, the Liberal government and the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario argued, among other things, that it would be too difficult to let Tourloukis know when LGBTQ or gender identity questions come up in class because inclusivity and diversity are embedded across the curriculum.
Ontario Superior Court Justice Robert Reid ruled against Tourloukis in November.
He ruled the board violated Tourloukis’ Charter rights, but the violation was “reasonable” given the competing Charter “values” of “inclusivity, equality and multiculturalism,” and public school boards’ statutory obligations to support equity and create an inclusive school environment.”
But Tourloukis didn’t accept the court’s decision.
He appealed and fought back.
Determined to protect his children, he pressed on. But tragically, he lost.
However, while this father may have lost his most recent battle, he hasn’t lost the war. You see, LGBT activists think they’ve won, but they have no idea they are in for the fight of their lives.
LifeSite News reported:
“Lou Iacobelli, president of the Parental Rights In Education Defense Fund, which bankrolled the legal challenge, echoed this.
He slammed the ruling in his Everyday for Life Canada blog, describing the lack of evidence position as a “red herring.”
“A reasonable person (not Canadian judges in these days of political correctness) would say that forcing ‘diversity education’ on all public students is a direct infringement on a parent’s ability to teach the Christian faith and family values,” Iacobelli wrote.
“The three justices know about the radical sexual indoctrination that children are being exposed today in schools. As specified in ministerial guidelines produced in court, students are being brainwashed across the curriculum, that is in every subject. This is clearly a contravention of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Education Act.”
Christian parents will not sit back and let LGBT activists infiltrate the school system.
Protecting the purity and innocence of children is something every good parent just does, and are willing to die for.
The LGBT activists may have occasional small victories, but if they think Christian parents are going to sit back and give their children over to depraved minds, they’ve got another thing coming.
