Since the Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade made abortion legal in 1973, millions of innocent lives have been snuffed out. Babies who were destined to fulfill a purpose in God’s plan; who deserved a chance to serve that purpose, to love and be loved, were put to death.
Abortion is the Holocaust of our time, unbelievably still so common in such an advanced world where the left proclaims equality, inclusion, and tolerance for all – that is unless you are a baby who is deemed an inconvenience in a country that allows you to be killed for no reason at all.
Such was the case recently in a Washington, D.C. abortion clinic, where a staffer negotiated a high price for one woman to be able to terminate her pregnancy – killing her healthy, 26-week-old baby simply because she didn’t want to raise her child.
The cost in blood money to this “surgical center?” $6,200 if she would terminate the next day, another thousand if she waited a week.

Late-term abortion facilities have been caught on tape multiple times, expressing willingness to commit abortions on healthy mothers and healthy babies very late in gestation. Washington Surgi-Clinic, a late-term abortion facility operated by abortionist Cesare Santangelo in Washington, D. C., is just one of those caught. In the footage, recently published by Abortion Free New Mexico and Priests for Life in a video series, a staffer there agreed to commit an abortion on a 26-week-old preborn child — for no medical reason.
The staffer tells the woman that an abortion can be done “as soon as tomorrow, if you like,” adding that the three-day abortion procedure would cost $6,200. Waiting another week would raise the price to $7,200.
When asked what the “procedure” is like, the staffer tells her that her cervix will be dilated and then on the third day they do the abortion “when you are completely asleep. So you don’t see… absolutely nothing.”
This same clinic was featured in a previous undercover video series, where the doctor, Cesare Santangelo, told a woman who chose to abort her 25-week-old healthy baby that if the baby survived the procedure, he would not step in to perform life-saving measures.

Technically – you know, legally we would be obligated to help it, you know, to survive. But, you know, it probably wouldn’t. It’s all in how vigorously you do things to help a fetus survive at this point…. We wouldn’t intubate… It would be, you know, uh, a person, a terminal person in the hospital, let’s say, that had cancer, you know? You wouldn’t do any extra procedures to help that person survive. Like ‘do not resuscitate’ orders. We would do the same things here… And that’s happened before, to tell you the truth.
If Santangelo was telling the truth about this happening at his facility, they would have violated the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which requires doctors to give medical care to a viable child who survives an abortion.
In many states, women can legally choose to kill their unborn child up until birth without a medical — or any other — reason. And despite the liberal propaganda that dominates the mainstream media, late-term abortions happen far more than they would lead us to believe.

The Alan Guttmacher Institute (the research arm of Planned Parenthood) reports that abortions of pregnancies at 21 weeks or later comprise about 1.1 percent of the nation’s abortions, which that same institute also indicates are in the area of 1.21 million. That means over 13,000 babies a year are killed at 21 weeks or beyond.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) statistics, Clate-term abortions (i.e., those of babies 21 weeks or older) are done in many states, which means that there are more than two or three abortionists who do them. A June 1st L.A. Times story refers to the CDC statistics, which show that in 2005, 8,482 abortions were performed on babies 21 weeks or older. Note that the CDC statistics are lower than the Guttmacher statistics, because California (in which about a quarter of the nation’s abortions occur), along with a few other states, do not report their abortion statistics to the CDC.
Almost every state in the union allows late-term abortion with few regulations. And six states – Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon and Vermont — as well as Washington, D.C. where the Surgi-Clinic is located, have absolutely no ban or regulations on how late in a pregnancy a preborn baby can be killed.
The heinous stories about Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers are further proven with comments about the Washington, D.C. Surgi-Clinic. First-hand accounts prove these abortion centers care nothing for the health and safety of a mother or for trying to save a child. Their bottom line is the almighty dollar, and the conditions are deplorable.
According to comments posted about the Washington Surgi-Clinic by Live Action:
“Worst place ever,” one wrote in 2011. “This is an overcrowded meat market where with antiquated, dirty equipment and insufficient staff.”
“If something goes wrong there is not enough staff to address the issue,” the anonymous Google user wrote. “They needed to use a wheelchair after one girl (sitting in the hallway) had a reaction and they couldn’t even get the wheelchair through the doors without the other patients helping move chairs out of the way.”
“Right after that there was screaming, crying, glass breaking, things being thrown heard from the back, and the doctor calling for his nurses in a panicked voice… at no time did anyone let the waiting area know that everything was under control,” she continued.
“I almost died here in here and they were about to let me. That’s all I’ll say,” a Google reviewer named Jai Mee wrote six months ago.
It continues to be one of the darkest periods in our nation that the horror of abortion is allowed to continue. Not only is a child’s life ended, but also their purpose and potential laid out in God’s plan for them.
There are few regulations on these clinics, further allowing the true nature of the conditions and horrors to be covered up in liberal propaganda. Children are dying, and profits continue to rise while mother’s lives are also at risk.
