Sanders Kicked Out Of Restaurant For An Appalling Reason

It’s hard to be kicked out of a restaurant in most cases, usually only being evicted for violent or unruly behavior.

Yet, in this day and age where political rivalries are at a peak, mainly with the confrontation on the side of the all too loud liberal population, you can be discriminated for your party association.

Friday night, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was shown unnerving hypocrisy as she was personally affronted.

The Daily Wire reported:

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said on Saturday that she was kicked out of a restaurant by the owner because she works for the Trump administration and because of her political views.”

Sanders tweeted about the event at the Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, saying that she was asked to leave by the owner because of her affiliation with the Trump administration.

The Red Hen co-owner, Stephanie Wilkinson claims to not be a “huge fan of confrontation”, as she told the Washington Post.

However, she continues to say, “I have a business, and I want the business to thrive. This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals.”

This statement doesn’t make a whole lot of sense as a business owner, seeming you are publicly offending Republicans which would make up a considerate percentage of patrons.

You are either trying to make a good business choice, or you are trying to make a political stand. Wilkinson’s statement shows she obviously conflates the two.

The “morals” spoke of are, ironically, Wilkinson appeasing the sensibilities of her homosexual employees.

Apparently many of the employees, in the small establishment, were gay, and “knew”, along with the rest of America, Sanders’ position on transgender military personnel.

Wilkinson stated, “that several of her employees were gay and that they knew that Sanders had defended the president’s call for a ban on transgender troops in the military”, according to The Daily Wire.

Wilkinson asked her staff to tell her what they wanted her to do about Sanders and her friends eating at the restaurant, and if they wanted her to “Ask her to leave”, according to The Daily Wire.

The staff responded they did want her out, so Wilkinson introduced herself and requested Sanders to join her on the patio to talk.

The Daily Wire reported Wilkinson’s exchange with Sanders:

“I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation,” Wilkinson said. “I said, ‘I’d like to ask you to leave.”

Wilkinson indicated that Sanders was respectful and said she would go and offered to pay for the food that was being prepared.

I said, no, Wilkinson said. “It’s on the house.”

The leftist media is having a field day with the Red Hen event, comparing it to the recent Supreme Court case of the Masterpiece Cakeshop, where a bakery owner refused a wedding cake for a gay Colorado couple.

Unfortunately for the liberal mongers peddling their propaganda, the comparisons are illogical at best and largely hypocritical at worst.

As in the case of Masterpiece Cakeshop, the left wants to say that the baker should bake a cake for anybody who walks in.

Yet, the media is praising the #Resistance for not serving someone at their establishment based on personal beliefs.

Liberals believe they can whine and protest when they are offended, but that it is alright to offend those they disagree with; all while they receive no consequences. It seems the old facetious saying is true, if liberal Democrats didn’t have a double standard, they would have no standard at all. While no laws were broken, and Sarah Sanders complied with the restaurant’s request, it doesn’t mean that she – and other conservatives – can’t be upset about the whole situation.

As conservatives, it is the general belief that any business owner should have the right to refuse business to anyone for any reason.

A key difference in the instance with Sanders is that she took the higher ground. She respected the right of the business owner to refuse her service; in compliance with her conservative views.
