Shocking: Woman Dies Slow Death From Husband’s Beating

Excuses for spousal abuse are plenty, like “He has only done it once” and “He promised it wouldn’t happen again.”

The hard truth is that when an individual begins aggressive behavior toward their significant other, the problems don’t just stop; and often times get much worse until help is sought out.

One woman in Washington State met a horrific demise by the hands of the man she married, surely expecting circumstances would have turned out different.

Miami Herald reported:

Stuart Sullivan called 911 just after midnight Wednesday, when his wife succumbed to the injuries he inflicted on her a few days earlier, Washington authorities said.”

Sullivan’s wife, Donna Sullivan, was found dead by officers who arrived at the scene in the couples Collins Lake home.

First responders on the scene immediately began attempting “life-saving measures”, according to KATU News, but were unable to revive her; she was declared dead shortly after.

The victim’s body was covered with bruises, including a “baseball sized bruise on her face and two black eyes”, according to KOIN.

Timeline on the beatings all over Donna were consistent with her husband’s confession.

Sullivan, 56, was recorded making a chilling exchange with the 911 operator, as he confessed “I beat the hell out of her a couple of days ago, and I think she just died,” according to the Miami Herald.

When the operator asked what he beat her with, Sullivan disturbingly responded with “Everything I suppose. She got beat up bad.” , reported KATU News.

The disconnect between Sullivan and the gruesome events that occurred are eerie and heartbreaking.

The Sullivans had recently moved into their current residence from Vancouver, Washington.

Neighbors from Vancouver were shocked by Donna Sullivan’s death, saying that for most of the time they knew the Sullivans they had pleasant exchanges.

One neighbor who lived near the Sullivans in Vancouver was reported saying, “That’s shocking, you never know what people are going to do.” reported KATU News.

The neighbor continued to say that “They seemed to be really nice. We would exchange conversation over the fence. We have a garden, so we would offer them food from the garden and when they went fishing in Alaska, they brought us back some.”

However, after some time it became evident there was something unusual about Stuart Sullivan, with neighbors reporting that he seemed “paranoid and on edge”, according to KATU News.

Sullivan’s mental state before or after he murdered his wife has not been determined. It is apparent that he has no regard for human life, and didn’t value his own wife; which brings one to only speculate how he would treat a total stranger.

Local authorities said that it would seem Donna Sullivan “died a slow death”, according to KATU News.

Court documents from Mason County confirmed that “he beat his wife so badly that she died over the course of a few days.”

It was reported by KOMO, that the prosecutor in Donna’s case said that Sullivan showed “extreme indifference to human life.”

Sullivan is currently being held in the Mason County Jail on criminally negligent homicide.

No one suspected the abrupt and painful death of Donna Sullivan, and sadly she is not the only wife that will die by the hands of her husband this year; maybe even this week.

Domestic violence in the United State is an epidemic, which reflects the declining value on human life.

The National Association Against Domestic Violence reported on some alarming statistics regarding partner abuse:

“On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.

Only 34% of people who are injured by intimate partners receive medical care for their injuries.”

We don’t know how long Donna Sullivan was being abused by her husband, or how many injuries she neglected medical treatment for, but we know there are more women just like her that need help.

The Huffington Post reports that “Three women are murdered every day by a current or former male partner in the U.S.” and that 18,000 women have been “killed by men in domestic violence disputes since 2003.”

If you or anyone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, you can seek help by calling the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

Liberals want to say that a human life in the womb is not legitimate, that the elderly should be able to kill themselves if they want, and that children can be used as pawns in an agenda for unlimited sexual identity.

This mindset jades the public on the innate worth of every human life as it was created, causing one to be self-serving in all their actions.

What happened to Donna Sullivan is tragic. She was a victim to the cruel acts of a man who had only his own well-being in mind.
