This Country Is Stripping “Free” Citizens Of Their Rights – And We’re Not Far Behind

The left has been steadily attempting to erase our values and trample our Constitution in order to further its own agenda.

World history should serve as a lesson for all of us just how quickly lives can be deemed unworthy if it benefits dictators and power-hungry governments.

As the leftist culture of death spreads internationally, one young life is serving as an example of just how much danger our God-given rights are in.

Little Alfie Evans, not quite two-years-old, lays dying in a hospital in Liverpool, England.  And his parents are being stopped at every turn from keeping him alive.

Despite his family’s desperate fight to keep him alive, and pleas from people all over the world to intervene on their behalf, every aspect of England’s government-run healthcare system is trying to facilitate the precious toddler’s death in the name of control over its citizens and the almighty dollar.

Mommy Underground has monitored the Evans family’s fight to save their son from the beginning of this tragic case, and reported on the most recent setbacks faced in the desperate struggle to save Alfie.

And now the British government is even monitoring social media posts by those pleading for help to save little Alfie.

LifeSite News reported:

“Merseyside Police has been made aware of a number of social media posts which have been made with reference to Alder Hey Hospital and the ongoing situation involving Alfie Evans,” Merseyside Police Chief Inspector Chris Gibson said. “I would like to make people aware that these posts are being monitored and remind social media users that any offences including malicious communications and threatening behaviour will be investigated and where necessary will be acted upon.”

“What kind of dictatorship are you running there?” Red State’s Brandon Mohe public group – meaning its settings allow for anyone on Facebook to find it – could not be found via a regular search on April 25, 2018 at 2:51 p.m. The massive group still exists, and it’s unclear why it won’t show up in a search.

The UK has come under scrutiny for its policing of online speech before, when in 2017 a top prosecutor announced a new crackdown on social media posts about LGBT issues because “whether shouted or tweeted, prejudice devastates lives.”

British police are on scene at Alder Hey to ensure Alfie cannot leave.

Britain claims to be a free country, yet the actions of the government are nothing short of tyranny.  In order to continue their propaganda that socialism is beneficial for its citizens, the government is rapidly tamping down every last freedom it can to keep control over the population.

LifeSite News continued:

Another writer for Red State, Kira Davis, suggested that by refusing to let Alfie leave the country to get treatment, England is acting as East Germany did to prevent anyone from escaping.

“Too many people were leaving for the West and you need people to make socialism work. We had to build the wall to keep them in so they could see how great socialism was, so they could see that it works.”

Davis wrote, “Great Britain doesn’t yet have a wall to keep its citizens in, but the courts have built one with the law. Just as East Germany could not tolerate the massive loss of defectors who were leaving with their training, intellect and tax dollars, Great Britain’s healthcare system cannot tolerate the defection of those who might find better healthcare somewhere else.”

After all, how would it look if Alfie were allowed to leave England (allowed to leave a free country! Even to write the words feels absurd!) and then found a successful treatment in another country?

It would be an abject embarrassment to a government that holds up their socialist healthcare as one of the wonders of the Western world. Not only would they be forced to admit that their own doctors and bureaucrats were wrong for denying this baby life-saving measures, but they would then have to deal with hundreds, maybe thousands of other citizens fleeing the bondage…

The birth of a new royal baby has been extensively covered by international news outlets and is the lead headline in England.  We all know if it were the royal baby in need of life-saving healthcare instead of Alfie Evans, Britain’s government would do anything necessary to save the child for the sake of their image.

With the leftist culture of death seeping into every country in the world, it will not be long before it becomes commonplace for governments – including ours the U.S. – to decide who lives and who dies.

Not only is the evil of abortion allowed to continue in our country and elsewhere, now those who are fighting to live will be sentenced to death in the name of convenience.

For now, the U.S. remains a democracy and our Constitution demands that “We the People” are in charge.  But we are naïve if we think this could not happen here.

In fact, it already has, most notably with the death of Terry Schiavo in 2005.  Despite desperate pleas by her family, she was starved to death because she was deemed by doctors and our judicial system to be “not worth the effort.”

Obama’s socialist government-run healthcare system has yet to be repealed by weak-kneed politicians who cannot see through their own need for power.

Unless “We the People” wake up and realize that our God-given rights to life and free speech are slowly being taken away at the hands of government, we will quickly go the way of England and the countless countries under tyrannical dictatorships where the right to live is not guaranteed.

What do you think of the British government monitoring the speech of its citizens on social media to protect their own interests?  Leave us your thoughts, and continue to pray for a miracle for Alfie Evans.

**Update**

Mommy Underground is sad to report that since publishing this article, Alfie Evans has died. We will continue to keep you up to date on any new developments in this case. Our thoughts prayers are with his family. No parent should have to go through what Alfie and his parents were forced to endure. Alfie’s fight is not over.  We must not let him die in vain.
