Truth Uncovered: Melania Trump Helps U.S. Out Of Financial Ruin

The results are in. It is official, President Trump and his administration have had significantly less government spending than the Obama administration to date.

Reuters reported:

U.S. President Donald Trump asked lawmakers to cut $3.6 trillion in government spending over the next decade.”  To make good on those words, Trump started in-house.

Not only did frivolous positions that Obama made get booted, but many members of the Trump family did their part to see the country’s debt improve. President Trump himself attempted to forgo his healthy salary of $400,000 but was blocked by Article II of the Constitution, which stated that a President must be paid.

In response to Article II, Trump collects a whopping $1 annually and intends on donating or returning the rest to the treasury. CBS News reported that “President Donald Trump is donating the first three months of his salary to the National Park Service.”

The first daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are working as volunteers as well. USA Today reported “Her official title will be assistant to the president; her husband, Jared Kushner, has the title of senior adviser, and also does not get paid.”

Forbes reported on the current administration showing:

  • Nineteen fewer staffers are dedicated to The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS). Currently, there are five staffers dedicated to Melania Trump vs. 24 staffers who served Michelle Obama (FY2009).

This is no small financial savings after viewing the many high paid “extras” Michelle Obama kept on hand around the clock. The combined annual earnings of her staff exceeded $1.6 million as reported by factcheck.org who used the “Annual Report to Congress on White House Staff.”

Melania Trump’s 5 essential staff members Forbes reported to be:

  • Lindsay Reynolds, Chief of Staff to the First Lady ($179,700);
  • Stephanie Grisham, Director of Communications for the First Lady ($115,000);Anna Niceta, Social Secretary ($115,000)
  • Timothy Tripepi, Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations for the First Lady ($115,000);
  • Mary-Kathryn Fisher, Deputy Director of Advance for the First Lady ($77,000).

The combined income of these staffers falls well below the high price tag Michelle Obama flaunted.

As we see First Lady Melania Trump doing her part to reduce government spending, along with the rest of the family, we only scratch the surface of Trump’s economic promises coming to fruition.

Projected four-year savings on the White House payroll could top $22 million” reported Forbes contributor Adam Andrzejewski.

The Hill revealed that Andrzejewski “used his nonprofit, OpenTheBooks.com, to assess the savings Trump is projected to have compared to former President Obama.”

Chris Liddell and Gary Cohn, two former executives now working in the White House, took reduced $30,000 salaries” says Newsweek, which are the lowest salaries of all White House staff.

These cuts and sacrifices among the Trump administration are the kind of strong moves the United States needs to push this country out of the financial mess we have been buried in, with no help from the previous administration.

If the FLOTUS can cut a million dollars by herself from government spending, then the financial potential for this country is about to see a turnaround.
