During Holiday Madness, Make Sure Your Child’s Lunch Makes The Cut

  1. Plan Ahead:

Moms – we know this is a crazy time of year!

There’s so much to do. Too much to do!

But by planning ahead, you are more likely to make healthy eating choices for your child.

Consider meal planning, and try making several batches of chili and fresh soup.

This is an inexpensive way to provide hearty food for your hungry child, that’s healthy at the same time.

You can pack some for lunch, and freeze the rest to use at a different time.

The worst thing you can do for your child is throw in a lunchable loaded with processed meat and other preservatives, because you don’t have anything else planned.

With just a little bit of planning, you can be ready for the holiday season.

And by teaching your child the importance of moderation, and showing them how to eat healthy during the holidays, you are setting them up for success in the future.

What are some ways you teach your child to stay healthy during the holidays?

Do you have any favorite “go to” healthy lunches you make in your home?
