Doing These Things Can Shape A Hard-Working Child

  1. Allow your child to find what interests them

It’s easy to see in children what their interests are because they will linger in tasks that they find tedious, and fly through ones that excite them.

A child won’t mind putting in hard work if they are enjoying the assignment. Use your knowledge of this to encourage less enjoyable working moments.

For example, if your little one likes Legos, have them add another piece to a set every time they complete a portion of a chore.

And, when they are done you can play Legos together, further enforcing a hard-work ethic.

Remember, as Niedospial points out:

Hard work looks different in various subjects and aspects of life. Let kids find what makes them excited and energetic.”
