A Political Free-Speech Showdown To Protect Unborn Babies Has Reached The Supreme Court

The battle between pro-aborts and pro-lifers has reached the nation’s highest court yet again, as the Supreme Court has allowed oral arguments regarding a California law designed to increase abortions.

Arguments are heated as both sides plead their case in what’s being dubbed as a “free speech” political showdown.

But in a shocking turn of events, pro-aborts can sense they are losing traction, and they just launched the biggest smear campaign against pro-lifers, trying to shut down the case.

The “bully bill” otherwise known as the Reproductive FACT Act, forces pregnancy centers to distribute material letting women know they can have “free or low-cost” abortions.

This proves what pro-lifers already know, the pro-abort crowd is so determined to end innocent life, they aren’t just satisfied killing babies at Planned Parenthood.

Instead, they are targeting pregnancy centers which promote life and trying to get those women to choose abortion too.

Live Action News reported:

“The law has long had support from NARAL Pro-Choice America, before it even passed.

NARAL has a history of attacking pregnancy centers.

Their role in the FACT Act was no different, in that NARAL president Ilyse Hogue appeared against Lila Rose to debate the bill and, along with NARAL Pro-Choice California State Director Amy Everitt, wrote an op-ed published in The Mercury News, just before the bill was signed into law by pro-abortion Democratic Governor Jerry Brown.

Leading up to Tuesday’s oral arguments, NARAL has continued to share across social media their claims that pregnancy centers are fake clinics which lie to women as a reason why these centers should be compelled to communicate the government’s mandated speech.”

Targeting pregnancy centers and deeming them “fake” is unconscionable.

And as Mommy Underground previously reported, time after time, pro-abort centers like Planned Parenthood have been caught lying to women and covering up sexual abuse.

Planned Parenthood is so determined to kill unborn babies, they’ll do anything to lure women to murder their unborn baby.

But while the pro-aborts are certainly funded by a lawyered-up army and backed by wealthy leftist donors, the pro-life army has their own political backing.

Pro-lifers are taking the angle, that by being forced to distribute this material, it violates free-speech.

Life Action News continued:

“In January, an amicus brief signed on by 128 U.S. House Representatives and 16 U.S. Senators was filed by Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (R-MD), and Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT).

“No person or entity can be required by the government to say or promote ideas they do not believe. That’s exactly what’s happening here, and it’s wrong,” LaMalfa said in a press release from his office. Daines offered:

California’s coercive law does not simply restrict these centers’ speech, it fundamentally alters it – in turn violating the centers’ constitutionally protected conscience rights. I call on the Supreme Court to uphold the First Amendment and strike down this unconstitutional law.”

Pro-aborts can sense they are losing steam, so they are attacking life at every angle.

But those who believe in protecting unborn babies are not giving up, and are uniting together to fight on behalf of all the babies not yet born, and their mothers.

No pregnancy center should be forced to distribute material promoting free abortions to mothers.

Pregnancy centers are designed to empower women and walk alongside them as they begin their motherhood journey.

In contrast, pro-abort clinics are created to murder innocent life, all while making a profit.

Do you think a pregnancy center should be forced to distribute material promoting free or low-cost abortions to women?

What do you think the Supreme Court will ultimately decide?
