Leftist teachers are always seeking ways to force their liberal views onto their students.
Using their power and authority, teachers often demand students submit to their leftist viewpoints, and refuse to let students who disagree with them speak up.
But one anti-gun teacher took it even further, and you won’t believe what she forced her students to do.
In the past, teachers were known for their professional maturity, realizing all students wouldn’t necessarily always agree with their personal political viewpoints.
Students were encouraged to research and use critical thinking to write essays supporting their viewpoint.
However, one local teacher refused her students the ability to think independently.
In fact, this teacher actually made her students write letters to their politicians, asking for gun control.
Fox News reported:
“You are trying to persuade lawmakers to have stricter gun laws to help prevent another school shooting from taking place,” the assignment declared.
“For this assignment, you are writing a letter to the lawmakers of the United States. The purpose of this letter is to pressure lawmakers to have stricter gun laws in the United States.
Blue Lives Matter obtained a copy of the social studies assignment from a police officer whose son was in the classroom.
“I asked him what he had for homework that night, and he said he had to write a paper on gun control,” William Lee told Blue Lives Matter.
“I looked at it, and I told my son, ‘No, you’re not doing that assignment.’
Then I emailed his teacher the next day and told him that my son would not be writing that.”
Naturally, this parent was outraged his son was assigned the task of writing politicians asking for strict gun-control.
And yet again, students are caught in the crosshairs of leftist teachers trying to force their agenda onto their students.
Indoctrination often happens in college, but it’s starting younger and younger.
Students are taught to obey teachers, and many teachers use their power to intimidate their students.
Not only was this assignment political, it’s flat-out wrong.
Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens won’t stop shootings.
Bad guys are always going to break the law, and by disarming the good guys, it creates a vacuum and places a target on the backs of those who follow the law
But as this parent reported, this isn’t the first time this school pulled a political trick.
Blue Lives Matter reported:
“Lee said that a number of other parents of his son’s classmates expressed concern about the assignment; however, they hadn’t found out about it until after their children had completed it and turned it in.
“Where are these letters now?” Lee asked.
“Why are they giving this as an assignment? It has nothing to do with the curriculum that they’re supposed to be following,” the angry father said.
He said this isn’t the first recent example of teachers incorporating their personal political agendas into their teaching at Hampton Middle School.
“What concerns me is this comes on the heels of another incident with a 6th grade teacher who was recently recorded by a 12-year-old student,” Lee explained. “The teacher went on a rant, calling Trump a racist and referencing Rodney King.
And that was a 6th grade history teacher in the same school.”
Out of control leftist teachers need to stop forcing their political views onto students.
Conservative students should have the freedom to express their viewpoints, without backlash.
And teachers who punish conservatives for their views should be fired.
