Clinton Refuses To Let Her Defeat Rest

Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to the victorious Donald Trump. The campaign left a trail of destruction as nominees had a genuine distaste for one another.

Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton hasn’t allowed herself to grieve the loss of the 2016 presidential election.

A political group, ‘Onward Together’, has been created by Hillary Clinton as a show of political force and financial persuasion.

NBC News reported:

“Onward Together, whose name and logo are a nod to her campaign’s “Stronger Together” slogan, aims to reinforce the so-called resistance movement that has sprung up since President Trump’s election.”

So far, Clinton said she would support new groups like Indivisible, the vast progressive organizing network; RunForSomething, which works to recruit millennial candidates for office; and Swing Left, which aims to flip the House of Representatives. Clinton is also supporting existing groups like EmergeAmerica, which works to elect female candidates for office, and the civil rights group Color of Change.”

This group, which is seemingly designed just to spite President Trump’s efforts, shows Clinton trying to connect with grassroots organizations and appear as relatable to the common people; too little, too late.

NBC News reported:

I’m now back to being an activist citizen and part of the resistance,” Clinton said last week at a luncheon in New York City.”

Hillary Clinton’s net worth weighs in at as much as $52.7 million, not including her New York and Washington homes, according to the Washington Post.

Stephanie Coontz, writing for CNN, said, “I listened to Hillary Clinton’s speeches over the last few months, looking in vain for any sign that she grasped the mounting frustration that so many working people have felt over the past few decades.

It’s going to be hard to convince the public, for whose dime has made her rich, that she’s just an “activist citizen” with no ulterior motive. How can she be common when she doesn’t even know how to properly work her email?

CNN also reported on Clinton’s lavish style of fashion:

“She wore a $12,495 Armani jacket during a speech about income inequality. In an appearance on the View, she clutched a $1,645 Alexander McQueen handbag.”

Onward Together’ could just be a front for more financial indiscretions. Donations could be endless with little to no oversight on spending.

NBC reported:

“Onward Together is organized as 501(c)4 non-profit organization. Unlike political action committees, these types of groups do not need to disclose their donors and can accept unlimited contributions, leading campaign finance reform advocates to label them “dark money” organizations.”

It would not be the first time the Clintons have been caught up in less than moral financial scenarios.
