After the Virginia Governor Ralph Northam scandal revealing his presumed support of infanticide, Democrats should be doing everything they can to separate themselves from even the suggestion they supported Northam’s comments regarding infanticide.
Unless they actually do support his comments…
And from the looks of their deliberate attempt to block a vote on a bill which would protect babies of botched abortions, it is clear they refuse to go on the record, unless they are trying to hide the unthinkable.
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is simple – it guarantees babies who are born from a botched abortion get the same life-saving medical care any baby would get.
It also criminalizes those doctors who deliberately kill a live baby.
Voting on a bill that condemns infanticide should be a no-brainer.
An easy vote.
Voting to provide care to a living, breathing baby should be the easiest vote of one’s Congressional career.
It’s a non-controversial vote, one that should cross all Party lines.
Even rabid pro-abort activists often draw the line when it comes to killing a delivered, live baby.
It’s easier for some to advocate for abortion while the baby is still inside the mother’s womb, while it’s still murder, pro-aborts justify the act.
And they even go so far as to accuse conservatives of being too “extreme” for even suggesting that Democrats support infanticide.
But their refusal to vote on a bill makes it appear as they have something to hide.
Why do they continue to block a vote on a bill that would provide medical care to a baby?
Republicans are puzzled too, and are horrified at the Democrats refusal to vote.

“Innocent life must be defended and protected at every stage, and that includes babies born alive during an abortion. We must immediately extend legal protections to these vulnerable newborns and prosecute any doctor who would leave them to die,” said Whip Scalise.
He added: “I introduced this resolution to begin the process of forcing a vote on Congresswoman Wagner’s important piece of legislation, especially after horrific actions taken in New York and Virginia to permit infanticide. The silence from Congressional Democrats is deafening and shameful. Every Member of Congress, regardless of party, needs to go on record against infanticide, and we must immediately take action to stop it. The American people deserve to know where their representatives stand on this critical issue.”
“I have been horrified to watch radical Democratic legislators argue that babies who survive abortions should not be given the same level of medical care that all other newborn babies receive.” said Representative Wagner.
If Democrats have nothing to hide, why are they so afraid to take the vote?
Could it be they actually do support infanticide?
Are they worried about upsetting the radical pro-abort left, and drying up future campaign funds?
That’s just it, by not voting and taking a stance, they are essentially taking a stance.
But Republicans aren’t giving up the fight just yet.
House Republicans plan to request a vote on this bill for the next 30 days.
If Democrats continue to deny the vote from taking place, their refusal to go on the record sends a loud and clear message to the American people on where their true loyalty stands.
And it’s clear, it is not with babies, whether unborn or born.
Choosing not to vote on something is still a choice.
And let’s hope voters remember this during election season.
