The founding fathers are surely rolling in their graves as liberals botch the Constitution and make a mockery of everything America is supposed to stand for.
However, there are times where logic and reason can only be denied up to a certain point and then reality knocks them out of their left floating bubble.
And that is what happened when former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard decided to stand up for Kyle Rittenhouse during one of the most divisive trials of the decade.
In August 2020 a Black Lives Matter Protest broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin causing civil unrest all over the city.
Much like the BLM protests in much of the nation at that time, protestors were largely violent and destroying businesses and injuring those who came to defend the citizens and store fronts.
During the protest in Kenosha, Kyle Rittenhouse tried to defend his hometown and the injured by walking the streets offering first-aid while carrying a firearm for protection.
Rittenhouse was attacked by a protestor and in self-defense shot 3 men, killing two of them.
The trial that proceeded the event was widely publicized in the media where Rittenhouse and the judge that presided over the case was criticized, demonized, and defamed without warrant.
During an interview with Lawrence Jones III on “Fox News Primetime”, Gabbard discussed the reaction of the left to Rittenhouse and the judge, Bruce Schroeder, presiding over the case:
“We remember very clearly that immediately after this incident, this tragedy occurred with Kyle Rittenhouse, the mainstream media, pro-Antifa politicians were very quick to say this kid is a white supremacist terrorist.”
Not only did the mainstream media label Rittenhouse, having no regard for innocent until proven guilty, but our president, Joe Biden hopped right aboard the defamation train.
As Mommy Underground has previously reported, during a Biden ad campaign prior to the latest presidential election Uncle Joe tweeted about his debate with Trump:
“There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.”
Who was Biden referring to? None other than the young Kyle Rittenhouse who had his world turned upside down after being forced to defend himself against attackers.
During the Fox News interview, Gabbard continued to say:
“The government absolutely failed to fulfill this most basic responsibility of keeping their community safe. Kyle Rittenhouse shouldn’t have gone and done what he did. But … you know, he’s a foolish kid who, like others in the community felt like they had no other choice but to step up and to try to do their part to keep people safe.”
The political left did not stop at protesting outside the courthouse and speaking their opinions about Rittenhouse being given a fair trial, but they berated the judge for being patriotic.
The judge’s cell phone went off during the trial with a ringtone “God Bless the USA” and somehow that song celebrating our nation is “racist”, as MSNBC guest Elie Mystal called Schroeder.
Gabbard admitted during the interview that “the political left often attacks anyone who is not on their team with smears of being a “racist,” “white supremacist,” or “terrorist.”
“And they levy out these allegations really without care again, for the evidence, facts or the consequences,” he continued.
Isn’t that the truth!
Gabbard closes the interview by saying the “craziness” being shown by liberals in response to the Rittenhouse trial “shows that they hate America.”
Thankfully, those who show no respect for the constitutional process or facts in general did not prevail.
After a tense 15 day trial, Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges and released, Fox News reports.
It is refreshing there are some democrats who recognize the preposterous allegations and skewed mindset of liberals, and also frightening how much of a minority they are.
Truth has to be defended and it will prevail.
Conservatives can’t be silenced from fear of being defamed or berated.
