Dems Block Coronavirus Relief Package To Push Agenda

Amid a global pandemic the House is in a heated debate over the details of a coronavirus relief rescue package.

The bill hopes to lift businesses and individuals out of murky water after Americans were advised to stay home to contain the virus, leaving capital at a standstill.

While Republicans have repeatedly voted with haste to help those struggling with economic hardship due to coronavirus, Democrats fold their arms and snub their noses at the bill until it undergoes a liberal twist.

The vote for the relief fund did not meet the 60-vote threshold to push the legislation into its final debate, with the results coming in at 49 to 46.

Currently, five GOP Senators are in quarantine after contracting Covid-19, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky).

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has openly accused the Democrats of “holding up the sorely needed rescue package so they can try to add extraneous provisions sought by special interests and organized labor,” reports the Washington Post.

Senator Joe Manchin III (D-W.Va.) claims that the Democrats are refusing to pass the bill because it seems “more focused on the big corporations and the health of Wall Street than we are on the health care of the people in rural America and Main Street.”

These erroneous claims are a smokescreen to sneak in liberal policies and use a dire situation to push an agenda they couldn’t get passed by sensible representatives any other way.

If the left doesn’t hesitate to use children as a pawn in their plan of world demoralization, we shouldn’t be surprised they would use a virus that has killed tens of thousands of lives unexpectedly.

Negotiations continue despite the unpalatable behavior of the Democrats because with many areas of the US economy reeling, such as the Dow Jones that has lost over 10,000 points in a mere six weeks, the Republicans know a solution must be reached.

The legislation Democrats want pushed through was presented by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and contained provisions with no relevance to the coronavirus pandemic at all!

Republicans are pushing for support for workers and small businesses, as well as supplies for hospitals and direct cash assistance to the average American.

Pelosi and her posse are asking for money for the performing arts, environmental regulations, and relief of the US Postal Services debt to the Treasury.

In a pathetic push for liberal agenda, Pelosi also had the nerve to add a “diversity provision” that would require all companies who received coronavirus aid to report their diversity statistics, and how their office deals with diversity and inclusion.

McConnell shared the sentiments of many Americans when he said, “They ought to be embarrassed.” Adding, “There is no time for this nonsense.”

The House Democrats $2.5 trillion bill, that lays at a whopping 1,404 pages, undoubtedly holds more irreverent provisions that they are hoping to get passed by holding ransom the well-being of struggling citizens.

President Trump is no fool and sees through their devious plan.

House members are hopeful an agreement can be reached soon in order to push the legislation forward in time to be effective, but as the President put it, “we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself.”
