Disney World Is Now Open – But the Guidelines Will Shock You

Many families are looking forward to taking a summer vacation after having been cooped up inside for months.

And despite Disney’s recent downward trend towards embracing the LGBT agenda, many families still flock to Disney each year for a chance to see Disney characters up close and personal and experience the “magic” of Disney.

But thanks to COVID-19, Disney has completely changed the way they operate, and their new rules will shock you.

So before you book your next trip to Disney, check out the new rules you’ll need to follow.

Masks For All – Ages 2 And UP

Disney is taking their mask mandate to the extreme and demanding children as young as 2 wear masks at all times in the park, except while eating.

Are you serious?

Adults can barely keep masks on and breathe, and a 2-year old is supposed to wear a mask in the hot summer weather for an entire day at an amusement park?

Yeah right.

Children can barely keep their shoes on and their hands clean, yet they are expected to walk around in a mask covering their nose and mouth.

Not going to happen.

But Disney is clear this mandate will be enforced.

Say Goodbye To Parades

Part of the allure of Disney was catching a seat to watch the parade of characters stroll down the block and snap some photos of these live action scenes.

But Disney is trying to discourage crowds, so parades are no more.

Instead, there will be “socially distanced mini-parades” scheduled throughout the day.

No more large gatherings of people, in Disney it’s kind of everyone for themselves.

Mandatory Temperature Checks

Want to visit Disney World?

Not only do you have to register beforehand, but you are forced to undergo safety measures like mandatory temperature checks before entering the park.

Disney has also set up additional distance barriers, such as plexiglass shields and physical barriers reminding everyone to keep their distance.

They’re doing everything they can to avoid human contact, even encouraging guests to use credit cards instead of cash when paying for things.

Disney Warns You Could Catch COVID-19?

Even more creepy, Disney’s actual website posts a warning to families that being in public places (like Disney World) could increase their risk of catching COVID-19, telling people if they visit the park they could actually die.

Disney’s website states:

“We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other Guests, and Cast Members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Walt Disney World Resort you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.”

Yeah… like that’s going to bring people rolling through the gates.

So if you dreamed of a Disney vacation, make sure you know what you’re in for.

Physical barriers, mandatory temperature checks, and enforced mandatory masks for two-year olds are enough to cause many families to say “no thanks” to a Disney World summer vacation.
