Babies with Down syndrome have a target on their back –literally.
And if it were up to those in charge, they wouldn’t make it out of the womb alive.
Even worse, a certain group of pro-abort activists are working overtime to make it legal to murder babies with Down syndrome until the moment they are born.
And if they get their way, this is only the beginning of a full-on assault against children with special needs.
But first, it’s critical to remember, those that advocate for abortion do not value life. They are all about personal convenience, and to them, a child is a burden, and not a blessing.
Hiding under the term “women’s rights”, abortion advocates claim a woman should be able to live as she pleases, and a child is simply an inconvenience.
And now, they are taking it even further by seeking to eliminate any baby who has the remote chance of being born with Down syndrome, as if that somehow makes a child less valuable because they have an intellectual disability.
And in Ireland, where unborn babies are typically protected, there is a battle for the heart and soul of Ireland to allow abortion on demand.
Life News reported:
“Ireland is under intense pressure to repeal its Eighth Amendment, which protects unborn babies’ right to life. Abortion activists, backed by some of the world’s richest men, have been pushing the pro-life country to legalize abortion on demand for years.
SPUC reports the Oireachtas Committee recommended legislation that allows abortion up to 12 weeks for any reason, and past 12 weeks if the baby is diagnosed with a terminal condition or if the mother’s health is jeopardized.
Harris, the main author of the legislation, attempted to direct the discussion away from babies with non-fatal disabilities earlier this week, according to The Times.
Harris said he considered it out of the question that the state would allow abortions simply for non-fatal disabilities.
This deadly discrimination against babies with disabilities is a problem across the world.”
For liberals who claim to want “tolerance”, it’s amazing how they continually discriminate against the least of these, not caring if the world’s most vulnerable survive, yet screaming conservatives are intolerant.
Of all people groups targeted, babies with Down syndrome seem to be at the top of the list.
As Mommy Underground previously reported, babies with Down syndrome are used as pawns in the middle of a political showdown.
Iceland bragged they have eliminated almost 100 percent of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome.
While they should feel ashamed, they brag as if this is some kind of honor.
But hear this – the United States is not too far behind these countries.
Babies with Down syndrome are targeted right here in America at a rapid pace.
Who could forget the heartfelt testimony a man with Down syndrome gave on Capitol Hill, pleading with politicians to understand those with Down syndrome are just as valuable as anyone else.
We must stand up and defend the least of these.
A baby who is diagnosed with an intellectual disability has every right to live.
