Light Drives Out Darkness, At Least For 40 Days

Abortion clinics are known to be a dark eternity, where scared young girls are lured in, and leave even worse than they came.

Pro-life activists across the country have been working overtime to shut down places like Planned Parenthood, despite the war chest of funds being thrown tokeep abortion clinics up and running.

But never underestimate what a dedicated group of activists can do when unified behind a cause – starting in just a week, the light of truth will help stop abortions, and save lives, and you can be a part of it.

Every year, thousands of pro-lifers gather to participate in prayer and draw attention to what’s happening at abortion clinics.

The event is called 40 Days for Life and has been taking place since 2007.

The 40 Days for Life website, proudly displays their mission:

“The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40-day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion.”

You see, abortion clinics love to operate in the dark, hiding what’s really happening.

But powerful prayer and organized activists have blown the lid off the abortion clinic secrets.

LifeSite News reported:

“40 Days for Life begins its next global campaign of prayer, fasting, and around-the-clock vigil at abortion clinics September 27th, and finishes on November 5th. During this time, thousands of pro-lifers will visit abortion clinics for a time of concentrated, peaceful prayer.

Campaign organizers say this year’s event is expected to be the largest gathering of pro-life intercessors since the vigil began.

“We are very excited about the largest 40 Days for Life campaign ever,” 40 Days for Life President Shawn Carney told LifeSiteNews. Carney said the campaign will be in 375 cities around the world.

“We have now seen 89 abortion facilities close their doors,” he said.”

Abortion clinic workers are terrified to know this global campaign is coming.

They’d rather operate under the radar, without their tactics being exposed. Having thousands of pro-lifers draw attention to their brutal practices, is not exactly the publicity they want.

The 40 Days for Life campaign is a program not only advocating for the rights of the unborn but one that also gets results.

And the results make everything worth it.

The 40 Days for Lifewebsite listed the successes from their pro-life campaign to date:

“Since the first coordinated 40 Days for Life campaign took place in 2007 through the end of 2016, local campaign leaders have reported these blessings — God’s answers to their prayers:

  • 4,876 total campaigns
  • 715 cities
  • 44 countries
  • 750,000 individual participants
  • 19,000 churches
  • 13,305 lives saved from abortion
  • 154 abortion workers quit their jobs
  • 86 abortion facilities closed”

It’s critical that conservative women step up and do what they can to save unborn lives.

The abortion industry has the backing and support from those who wish to push their pro-abort agenda, disguised in the name of “healthcare.”

Abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood are a well-funded machine, laced with lies, and continued by deception.

Conservatives know abortion is not healthcare, and they know how dangerous Planned Parenthood is.

By speaking up and bringing light to the darkness, lives can be saved.
