The Golden Globes was a roller coaster of a time for those in the audience and those at home.
We heard comedian Ricky Gervais tell all the liberal elite who are about to receive their reward to keep their sanctimonious political rants to themselves.
But some actors are just not used to hearing they shouldn’t do something, and one shared her dark and misguided views despite the warning.
It is not surprising that somebody said something immoral at a Hollywood awards ceremony, but a very pregnant Michelle Williams took it one step further.
After walking on stage to receive her award for “Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie” (I guess there’s an award for everything), Williams credits how far she has made it in the industry to her decision to have an abortion earlier in life.
Her speech was tweeted by NBC where she can be seen saying (while holding on tight to her little model globe):
“When you put this in someone’s hands, you’re acknowledging the choices that they make as an actor, moment by moment, scene by scene, day by day, but you’re also acknowledging the choices they make as a person, the education they pursued, the training they sought, the hours they put in.”

“I’m grateful for the acknowledgment of the choices I’ve made, and I’m also grateful to have lived at a moment in our society where choice exists because as women and as girls, things can happen to our bodies that are not our choice,” Williams goes on. “I’ve tried my very best to live a life of my own making and not just a series of events that happened to me, but one that I can stand back and look at and recognize my handwriting all over—sometimes messy and scrawling, sometimes careful and precise, but one that I carved with my own hand. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without employing a woman’s right to choose. To choose when to have my children and with whom. When I felt supported and able to balance our lives knowing as all mothers know that the scales must and will tip towards our children, now.”
There is so much wrong with her points here!
By saying “As women and girls, things can happen to out bodies that are not our choice” it is insinuating that she was raped to become pregnant, and that other women who get abortions are doing so for the same reason; which is just not the case.
Only about 1% of abortions are because of rape, as The Daily Wire attests, leaving the other 99% to be strictly for the reason of self-interest.
Williams tries to make the public believe that she didn’t choose to engage in activities that produce children.
It is unknown if the child she killed would have changed the course of her career, and in which direction, but it is known that she made a choice she reflects on often.
“I know my choices might look different than yours,” Williams continued. “But thank God, or whomever you pray to, that we live in a country founded on the principle that I am free to live by my faith and you are free to live by yours.”
Living by your faith should never conflict with fundamental laws that made this country great, such as the right to life.
As if Williams couldn’t say anything more narcissistic, she urges all women to vote “in [their] own self-interest,” contradicting everything her fellow liberals try to pretend is a moral stance.
The left votes for less immigration laws because they want us to think of the families being detained, and they vote for more government programs because they say it helps the poor (which we know not to be true).
But now Williams says to vote for your own self-interest so you can kill any of your children that stand between you and fame.
A few well-known pro-life advocates spoke up on social media to point out the irony and cruelty in her words.
One such person was Leah Darrow, a former contestant on America’s Next Top Model.
In an Instagram video she shared how she is about to have her fifth child and she is not kept from professional growth, only made “better because of it.”
Darrow adds:
“New life never keeps us from our dreams. One of the cruelest lies that the Devil tells women is that we aren’t brave or strong enough to do what God invites us into when we bring life into the world. New life is always a gift. And I’m humbled that I get to receive this new life AND live out the *abundant* life the Lord created me for.”
Well said Darrow!
As Activist Mommy puts it:
“Williams, already a mother to a 14-year-old girl by late actor Heath Ledger, knows full well what abortion involves. She knows that the only difference between the baby she aborted, her teenage daughter, and the baby she is currently expecting, is that the former simply wasn’t wanted at the time.”
She traded a life for the chance to clutch a glorified paper weight. Pro-life speaker Eric Sammons tweeted this sentiment perfectly when he labeled a baby as “priceless” and the Golden Globe award as “worthless.”

It is sickening that Williams touted these lies while acknowledging the child she currently had in the womb, the one that she wanted.
It is also sad that so many women have been brainwashed by the left into believing the lies surrounding the senseless and selfish killing of children in the womb.
Our nation is beginning to wake up to liberal hypocrisy but we have a ways to go.
Don’t stop praying and becoming an active member of the country that has given us freedom to uphold traditional values.
