Senator Rand Paul Was Attacked At His Home, And You Won’t Believe Who Did It

Senator Rand Paul’s day started off like any other.

But as he was mowing the grass outside his Kentucky home, suddenly his next-door neighbor snuck up behind him, and did the unthinkable.

And before Senator Rand Paul knew what happened, he was blind sighted and assaulted, and is now recovering from the attack.

But who was the rogue man who attacked Senator Paul?

His next-door neighbor, Rene Boucher, a said to be liberal socialist, is the one who charged Senator Paul on his private property.

Boucher attacked Senator Paul with such force, he left him with broken ribs.

The Washington Post reported:

“Doug Stafford, Paul’s chief of staff, said in a statement Sunday that the senator has five rib fractures, including three displaced fractures, meaning the bones are partly or completely cracked.

“This type of injury is caused by high velocity severe force. It is not clear exactly how soon he will return to work, as the pain is considerable as is the difficulty in getting around, including flying,” Stafford said.

Paul has lung contusions, or bruises, caused by the broken ribs, Stafford said. He could not say whether one lung was bruised or both, but said Paul’s recovery could last several months. Such fractures can cause other significant medical problems, including internal bleeding, damage to other organs or pneumonia.”

Liberals continue to live a double standard.

They claim Republicans are full of hate and violence, when liberals are the ones who act out in rage.

Senator Paul was mowing his grass, minding his own business.

Thankfully, he survived the attack and is in good spirits, but this event could have ended in tragedy.

This is the second time Senator Paul came under attack in the past year at the hands of an out of control leftist.

Earlier this year, Senator Paul was practicing with fellow members of Congress in a field for the upcoming Congressional baseball game, when a crazy leftist opened up fire on the field.

And had Majority Leader Steve Scalise’s team not been carrying a gun, it would have been a bloodbath.

But the left doesn’t want the public narrative that they have violence on their side. After all, their goal is to portray conservatives as out of control violent extremists.

Boucher’s lawyer claims the attack wasn’t politically motivated, and is trying to portray it as a simple dispute.

NPR reported:

“Boucher, a Democrat, has lived next door to Paul, a Republican, for 17 years, Boucher’s attorney, Matt Baker, said in a statement to meber station WKU Public Radio. Here’s more from Baker:

“The unfortunate occurrence of November 3rd has absolutely nothing to do with either’s politics or political agenda. It was a very regrettable dispute between two neighbors over a matter that most people would regard as trivial. We sincerely hope that Senator Paul is doing well and that these two gentlemen can get back to being neighbors as quickly as possible.”

A simple dispute should not lead to broken ribs.

And according to the Lexington Herald Leader, the FBI and police are investigating the attack, which shows they are taking it seriously.

Liberals preach “tolerance”, but apparently their words don’t match their actions.

Thankfully Senator Paul is alive, but now he is forced to endure pain and a long recovery from the assault.

Do you think the attack on Senator Rand Paul was politically motivated?

Do liberals have a double standard when it comes to violence and acting out?
