The Latest Epidemic Shows Mosques Taking Over Christian Churches, And It’s Heartbreaking

In England, one used to be able to walk down the street and see a lively church, full of Christians worshiping the Lord.

But if the current trend continues, that familiar scene will soon cease to exist.

And with Muslims gaining steam in London, and all across the world, as predicted long ago, the world is gearing up to face the ultimate battle between Islam and Christianity.

But what is with the sudden boycott of Christianity?

As liberals preach “tolerance”, which really means only tolerance of their beliefs and agenda, those who are conservative, and especially Christian, are pushed to the sidelines.

In terms of Islam, the true nature of Islam is to consider Christians as the enemy.

And as Muslims continue to flock to Europe and countries around the world, they are growing their base at a drastic speed.

In some cities like Birmingham, it’s starling.

The New York Times reported:

“Mr. Masood, who converted to Islam in his late 30s, was born and raised in an affluent village in southeast England. He spent much of his adulthood in and around London, interrupted by jail time and two yearlong relocations to Saudi Arabia. But Birmingham was his last residence.

Birmingham was the birthplace of Britain’s first suicide bomber, the residence of a financier of the Sept. 11 attacks, and the place where Al Qaeda hatched a plot to blow up a commercial airliner in 2006.

When a masked member of the Shabab, the Somali extremist group, celebrated the murder of the soldier Lee Rigby in a 2013 video, he listed Birmingham as the first source of its fighters.

The man who is believed to have recruited the militant known as Jihadi John, the Islamic State executioner with the King’s English accent, was from Birmingham, as was his closest associate.

Other prominent militants who have come through the city’s underground networks include Abdelhamid Abaaoud, organizer of the 2015 Paris attacks, and Mohamed Abrini, a Belgian national who helped plot the 2016 Brussels attacks…

Part of Birmingham’s allure to prospective militants is its diverse sprawl of Muslim neighborhoods where they can blend in easily, local activists said.

“It’s a hiding place or a passing place to do what they want to do, and keep a low profile,” said Mohammed Ashfaq, director of Kikit, a community organization that helps young people who are drawn to drugs and extremist ideology.”

But some Muslims want to do more than just head to Europe and keep a low profile.

In fact, Islam has become so popular, mosques are popping up in record numbers, while Christian churches are being shut down.

Mosques are filling up spilling into the streets, while less than 20 people gather at Christian churches down the road.

Even more tragic, this contrast is noticed, and celebrated by Muslims.

They rejoice at the fact that young men are flocking to Islam.

The Daily Mail reported:

“While the two churches are nearly empty, the Brune Street Estate mosque has a different problem — overcrowding.

The mosque itself is little more than a small room rented in a  community centre, and it can hold only 100.

However, on Fridays, those numbers swell to three to four times the room’s capacity, so the worshippers spill out onto the street, where they take up around the same amount of space as the size of the near-empty St Mary’s down the road.

In the past ten years, there has been a decrease in people in England and Wales identifying as Christian, from 71.7 percent to 59.3 percent of the population.

In the same period the number of Muslims in England and Wales has risen from 3 percent of the population to 4.8 percent — 2.7 million people.

And Islam has age on its side. Whereas a half of British Muslims are under 25, almost a quarter of Christians are approaching their eighth decade.

It is estimated that in just 20 years, there will be more active Muslims in this country than churchgoers — an idea which even half a century ago would have been utterly unthinkable.

Many will conclude with a heavy heart that Christianity faces a permanent decline in Britain, its increasingly empty churches a monument to those centuries when the teachings of Christ governed the thoughts and deeds of the masses.”

But Christians, take heart.

This story is nothing new, and one that was prophesied to take place from the beginning of time.

Now, more than ever, Christians must stand up and speak the truth.

Mosques will continue to open, and Christians may face persecution for their faith.

But light is stronger than darkness, and in the end, we know how the story ends.
