The Rich And Powerful Are Ignoring This Law – Putting Children In Danger

Perhaps the biggest supporter of the left’s radical plan to eradicate traditional values is the Hollywood entertainment industry.

These elites perpetuate the immoral propaganda of the left with billions of dollars and a mentality that they have the power to do whatever they please.

Now, a disturbing fact has now come to light about the dark underbelly of Hollywood, showing they truly believe they are above the law.

The results of an investigation by Deadline about the widely-publicized sexual abuse charges made against those in the Hollywood entertainment industry have just been released.

The investigation focuses on the outcome of the sickening cases of child molestation that recently came to light.  What is going on is shocking, to say the least.

The Daily Wire reported:

California’s AB 1660 requires publicists, managers, acting coaches and headshot photographers who work with child actors to be fingerprinted and pass an FBI background check to screen out registered sex offenders. Only then will they be issued a Child Performer Services Permit.

A Deadline investigation, however, has found that not a single Hollywood publicist who represents child actors has obtained a permit. Dozens of managers, acting coaches and photographers who work with child stars have also failed to comply with the law, which is punishable by a year in county jail and a $10,000 fine. And yet, no one has ever been charged with breaking it.

The bill was signed into law in 2013, prompted by a particularly heinous case of child sexual abuse in Hollywood by a serial pedophile.

Publicist Robert Villard was able to keep under the radar — molesting children and possessing child pornography over and over again — by using an alias, and with the complicit disregard of those who knew what was going on.

The Daily Wire continued:

The law sought to prevent registered sex offenders from working with children under alias names. Such was the case of Robert Villard, who served as a publicist, manager, acting coach and photographer for many years despite having a laundry list of sex crimes attached to his name.

“In 1987, he was convicted of possessing child pornography, but the conviction was overturned on appeal,” reports Deadline. “He was arrested again in 2001 after a police raid of his home turned up thousands of photos of scantily clad boys in sexually suggestive positions. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor and was sentenced to three years’ probation.”

Since Villard operated under the assumed name Bob Moniker, he flew under the radar until being busted again in 2005 for committing a lewd act against a 13-year-old boy, a crime for which he pleaded no contest. He served seven years in prison and it was his release in 2012 that prompted AB 1660 into existence.

“Before this, there was nothing to stop him from returning to the industry and starting the abuse cycle all over again,” said BizParentz co-founder Anne Henry, the lead sponsor of AB 1660. “We wanted something to prevent that from happening.”

Like Villard, dozens of others working behind-the-scenes in the entertainment industry were also charged or convicted of heinous acts against children.

But AB 1660 was signed into law to prevent these pedophiles from re-entering the business under an alias, much like Villard did before he was rearrested.

In true Hollywood form – turning a blind eye to any kind of immoral activity – the law is not being followed, or apparently even enforced.

Hollywood has become a hotbed of deviant behavior.  With the backing of big money and oozing support from left-wing organizations, the entire entertainment industry has an “anything goes” mentality.

And like their allies on the left, they don’t accept the fact that there are certain boundaries that should not be crossed – or that their money and power don’t excuse them from the rules that govern the rest of us.

Leave it to California, and liberal Governor Jerry Brown, to pretend like nothing is happening to these children in the industry.

It appears Governor Brown wanted to save face with outraged citizens all over the country by signing AB 1660 into law, but without enforcement, he’s done nothing but dangle a carrot in front of families to distract them — allowing business-as-usual to continue.

And those in the film industry – like the actors they are – originally feigned outrage and threw their support behind the bill, only to now ignore the fact that there is a problem.

Activist Mommy reported:

Is it any wonder that the film industry would symbolically throw their name behind a bill such as this and completely neglect to actually keep anyone in check after it was passed?

They only care about children for the sake of exploiting them for entertainment, they have no more interest in protecting them than they really do in preventing sexual harassment or assault.

The bottom line of the Hollywood elites is to further the left’s agenda and feign concern to boost their popularity to line their already deep pockets.

It is an outrage that no one in the Hollywood community, or the left-wing California government, is calling for accountability to the law.

The health and well-being of children are at stake, but it appears no progress has been made in protecting their interests.

We all know the left cares more about corrupting and indoctrinating children than they do protecting and saving them.

What do you think of the lack of enforcement of California’s AB 1660?  Do you think those in Hollywood think they are above the law?  Let us know in the comments.
