Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has become a liberal icon and the latest pop-culture phenomenon.
Some moms are even dressing up their little babies as “mini-Ruths” for Halloween (yes seriously), and liberal women are buying and wearing pro-Ginsburg gear – including shirts with her face plastered on the front.
And at the age of 85 – while liberal women adore her — we have the top 3 reasons why conservatives don’t.
Look, we know Ginsburg has advocated for women.
We support policies to help women too – except many of the opinions Ginsburg has expressed haven’t actually helped women, they’ve hurt them.
But liberals seem to be blinded by the truth, and strangely bow down to her.

The truth is, Ginsburg is as liberal as they come.
And she’s backed some pretty far leftists like Hillary, who definitely don’t support women.
From supporting abortion to same-sex marriage, and taking it “too far” by insisting the main reason Hillary lost was because she was a woman, here are the top 3 reasons why liberals may love Ginsburg, but for all the wrong reasons.
- Pro-Abortion Policies: A woman on the most powerful court in the nation.
Ginsburg could have used her position of influence to advocate for all women – even the unborn baby girls growing in the womb who never had the chance at life because they were slaughtered at the hands of abortionists.
She could have been a voice for the voiceless.
But Ginsburg missed the beat on this one.
When a Texas law came up which would help protect unborn babies, Ginsburg struck it down and said:
… “When a State severely limits access to safe and legal procedures, women in desperate circumstances may resort to unlicensed rogue practitioners, faute de mieux, at great risk to their health and safety…”
And while she criticized some of Roe v. Wade, it was only because it didn’t go far enough to protect a woman’s “equality.”
Every conservative knows abortion is not “pro-women”, and damages a woman not only emotionally, but often even physically.
Abortion is never a “safe” procedure.
Women deserve better, Ruth.
- Supporting Same-Sex Marriage: Ginsburg has spent her career defending the “right” for same-sex couples to get married.
She’s evenly personally married them.
Not only do same-sex couples eradicate the very fabric of a moral society, it paves the way for “transgenderism” and other family disrupters.
But Ginsburg voted to allow same-sex couples to get married in all 50 states – a decision that accelerated the decline of a moral society.
And now everyone wants a piece of the pie.
- Ra-Ra For Hillary: Supreme Court Justices are supposed to stay out of the “political theater”, but Ruth couldn’t help expressing her disappointment by speaking kindly of Hillary when she lost.
And let’s face it.
Hillary lost because Americans saw right through her phony policies and promises.
In addition, conservative women had enough sense to not vote for Hillary just because she was a woman, but judge her on the fact she supported horrific policies like abortion on demand.
But Ginsburg insisted the main reason Hillary lost was because she was a female.
The Washington Times reported:
“I think it was difficult for Hillary Clinton to get by even the macho atmosphere prevailing during that campaign, and she was criticized in a way I think no man would have been criticized,” Justice Ginsberg said at an event at Columbia University.”
Come on, Ruth.
Hillary didn’t lose because she was a female.
She lost because her pro-abort policies, coupled with her shady past and relentless political ambition were exposed for the world to see.
Even female leaders around the world spoke out against her!
Liberal women love the fact Ginsburg had Hillary’s back, but we’re thankful enough women knew the truth to not vote for Hillary just because she’s female.
Women with bad policies don’t get a pass, sorry.
Sure, Ginsburg may have advocated on behalf of women.
We think women rock too.
But the real reason liberals love her is because she’s gained the reputation of being one of the most liberal Supreme Court Justices of all time.
It’s more important to support women who adhere to conservative principles, than propping someone up just because of her gender.
And as Mommy Underground previously reported, Ruth seems to drop the ball when it comes to real women’s equality.
Identity politics are never a good thing.
