This one is even too far for some who choose the natural route, but it makes a lot of sense.
Family cloths are rolls of reusable toilet paper that you wash and reuse after each use. Most that choose this route have a pail next to the toilet where you throw the cloth after use until it can be laundered.
Scary mommy showed the breakdown on why this may not be a bad idea:
“The 9 Billion breaks it down like this: each tree can only make about 1,000 rolls of TP. Americans use 7 billion rolls a year, which means that we’re killing 7 million trees a year.”
So, if you visit your friend with the non-GMO garden in the backyard and see a bunch of rags next to the toilet instead of toilet paper, you know what to do.
