Top 5 Herbs To Ease Labor

  1. Lavender

Anyone who is even remotely into medicinal oils will have a hefty stash of lavender on hand. It can be used for cuts, burns, and, most notably, relaxation.

Make a massage oil with lavender and coconut oil, or one of your choosing. Have your doula rub it on your lower back if you are having back labor, or rub some on the perineum to help prevent tearing.

Herbs are easily attainable, you just want to double check how they are sourced to ensure higher quality.

The affordable price tag, and the limited natural pain relief methods make these routes something worth checking out.

Have you used herbs during labor and delivery? If so, which ones? What relief did you find from them?
