Once mom is ready for visitors, it is important to come at a time that is good for mom.
Giving her multiple options for her to choose from or asking her what time of day works best for her is optimal.
And once you have a time scheduled, be on time!
Newborns are exhausting. Mom might have scheduled your visit during the only time of day that baby isn’t fussy or simply after her cup of coffee.
