A pregnant mom well into her pregnancy entered a bus and was desperately looking for a place to sit down.
But when she asked a guy on the bus if she could have his seat – he responded in the most heartless way.
And once he found she was single – he continued to hurl insults at her and you won’t believe what he said.
The guy wrote about the incident in a Reddit post asking readers if he was in the wrong and looking for validation that he did the right thing.
He went on a written rant explaining how he was “tired” from working all day and didn’t want to give up his seat.
He continued saying that even though the pregnant mom began to cry he didn’t care and stated how birth control and abortion were available options in this country so it “wasn’t his problem.”
Live Action reported:
“I wasn’t rude or anything, I just told her no, I’ve had a long day and my feet are sore. I don’t want to give up my seat,” he said of the encounter. After she started crying about being a pregnant single mom, he told her “that was her personal choice” and that “she can’t expect other people to accommodate her life choices.”
“We live in a state where birth control and abortions are free, so I don’t know why this should be my problem,” he wrote. “It’s not my fault she decided to have a baby when she can’t afford a car.”
How heartless can a person be!
Not only did he not give up his seat to a tired pregnant woman…
… but he went on a tangent attempting to shame her for being single and pregnant.
Thankfully, other readers responded pointing out how ridiculous and wrong he was.
One reader commented if he was standing and fell on the bus, he might get bruised while, if the pregnant mom ended up falling – she could lose her child.
But in today’s society – many people still refuse to acknowledge an unborn baby as an actual human life.
They couldn’t care less if an unborn baby dies – which is why some states have even lessened the punishment if an unborn baby is killed in an attack.
Our heart goes out to this pregnant mom who is already feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders being pregnant and single.
While this guy refuses to show her compassion or any sense of basic human respect, not every guy is like that.
There are many men who would have happily given up their seat (like another man on the bus ended up doing) and are quick to stand up to a guy who disrespects a woman.
