Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and her fellow liberal cohorts were arrested for obstructing and blocking traffic in Washington DC.
Hoping to ignite her base to protest the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade – AOC and 16 of her Congressional colleagues ended up being arrested outside of the Supreme Court.
And once you hear the insane theatrical show AOC put on – you’re bound to be irritated.
Truly – AOC has got to be one of the most obnoxious members in all of Congress.
Her attention-seeking behavior has been consistent from the start – from her drunk posts of assembling IKEA furniture to her “tax the rich” dress (she wore at the by-invitation-only Met gala) – her socialist and pro-abortion mentality is as left as it gets.
While she really believes these things – even more she loves drawing attention to herself.
And she’s at it again – and most recently she put on a dramatic scene as she was “hauled off” by the police after her refusal to get out of the street and stop blocking traffic.
She was never handcuffed, but of course she proceeded to put on a dramatic show for her liberal base by placing her hand behind her back pretending to be handcuffed…
… only to then moments later raise a fist in the air.
All of it was for social media posts and attention – acting like she’s a warrior for the movement to kill babies – even willing to “risk” arrest.
Except all the police did was escort them to a grassy area – before bringing them bottles of water and slapping them with a $50 fine.
AOC had the opportunity to truly lead by example, and discourage her base from protesting and asking them to respect the law of the land.
But even though the Supreme Court has spoken – liberal Members of Congress continue to incite their base – and encourage angry protests.
They don’t like the ruling – therefore they won’t accept it.
Conservatives are supposed to simply accept the legalization of gay marriage – and a host of other bad rulings…
… but when it comes time to the left accepting rulings that don’t go their way – they truly act like children.
The DC police are just trying to do their jobs – and warned protestors 3 times if they didn’t move and stop blocking traffic they’d be arrested.
But instead of respecting law enforcement, AOC continued to put on a show with other Congressional Members.
CNN reported:
“Wearing specially made green bandanas with “Won’t Back Down,” they marched from the Capitol to the Court, which has been fenced off for weeks, since shortly after the leak of the draft decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
Within two minutes of their arriving, police began ordering them to “cease and desist.” Instead, they sat on the street, and were one by one led off by officers as they chanted, “The people, united, will never be divided.”
Of course – AOC can protest all she wants – but the Supreme Court has spoken.
Perhaps she should understand her limited role – and respect our system of checks and balances.
Or – she could even use her platform as an opportunity to condone the violence taking place across the nation against peaceful pro-lifers.
But of course – she doesn’t.
AOC is all about AOC – and anyone else is just a bystander in her latest dramatic act.
