While some school districts openly embrace new LGBT policies, not every school district is on board.
In fact, in Russell County, Virginia, the school board voted unanimously to reject the “transgender” model pushed by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE).
And once you hear their reasoning – you’re bound to be encouraged.
So many schools adopt a pro-LGBT policy claiming they are “protecting students.”
Of course, nothing could be further than the truth.
All schools are doing is making their facilities a dangerous place for students.
As a result, a boy simply has to “claim he is a girl” and he gains access into female locker rooms and restrooms.
Even though female students feel threatened and scared to be showering next to a biological male, in the name of being “inclusive” school boards ignore the cries of students and push a radical agenda.
In Virginia, radical leftists have taken the once-red state by storm, and they continue to introduce LGBT policies at a rapid pace.
Mommy Underground previously reported on the Christian teacher who refused to compromise his beliefs by referring to students by whatever “pronoun” they chose to go by that day.
And who could forget in Loudoun County when it took a student standing up at a school board meeting begging them to pay attention to the danger their radical LGBT policies were having on students.
Students are scared, but the school board doesn’t seem to care.
And just when it seemed like all hope was lost, the Russell County School Board has the courage to actually stand up for students.
When it came time to vote on Virginia’s radical pro-LGBT policy – they stood together and unanimously voted ‘no’, claiming their goal was to protect all students.
Faithwire reported:
“Candi Cushman, vice president of grassroots and communications strategies at The Family Foundation remarked that the meeting sent a powerful message to others about taking a stand against transgender policies.
“With these actions, the Russell County School Board set an empowering example for school board members across the state who feel pressured against their will to adopt the state government agency’s radical transgender-issue policy and other curriculum recommendations,” she said.
“This is one of the first school boards to send this strong, unequivocal message that they will not compromise when it comes to protecting all kids and respecting parental rights.”
Cheers to Russell County for standing up for ALL students and refusing to bow down to radical government officials trying to force through their leftist agenda.
Sadly, the pro-LGBT agenda is coming straight from the White House, with Biden leading the charge.
Students should feel safe in school and not worry about something as simple as using the restroom.
Let’s hope more adults across the country stand up for all students, and actually help those struggling with gender dysphoria get the help and counseling they need – instead of letting their misguided beliefs run the schools.
