There is an obvious double standard when it comes to freedom of expression in modern American society.
A mall vendor is welcomed for selling t-shirts that openly mock the president of the United States, but you have to literally fear for your life if you speak publicly about supporting this country’s leader.
The media wants to do their part in pushing the public into adopting the double standard, and one good company is caught in the crosshairs.
There is a vital election coming up that could steer this country into a new conservative era or a endless pit of relativity and depravity.
Many brave businesses and individuals are standing up for our rights as Americans despite liberal’s violent and biased actions, as Mommy Underground has previously reported.
Hobby Lobby is facing a slew of backlash for allegedly displaying signage made from store materials that endorsed Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
Failing to see the crime here?
Apparently, liberals think that endorsing a candidate they don’t like gives them justification to attack the owner of that endorsement and attempt to burn them in the media.
It would be notable to mention many of these die-hard liberal sheep cannot even string a coherent and relative sentence together as to why they dislike our current president so much.
The “sinful” image at a Hobby Lobby was posted to Twitter by user Kari Brekke and depicted shelves that held letters reading “USA VOTE TRUMP”.
As with any seemingly controversial post on social media, it went viral with more than 34,000 likes and 13,200 retweets, with some even calling for a boycott of the store.
The popular craft store has not commented on the post, but other users point out it may have not been the store that originated the message.
Popular YouTube star Hank Green wrote on Twitter:
“We’re all aware that customers re-arrange these letters all the time, right?”
This seeming defense of Hobby Lobby ended with the comment:
“Call my old fashioned, but I prefer to be outraged at Hobby Lobby for making it so that employers can decide what kind of healthcare their employees can get.”
This statement was an attempt to bring to light the 2014 court ruling that said Hobby Lobby, a Christian owned company, didn’t have to provide coverage for contraceptives because it was in opposition to their religious beliefs.
Saying that a woman has to take charge of her own reproductive choices and not make it the responsibility of a private company should be far from provoking outrage.
More recently fear mongers have attacked Hobby Lobby for trying to keep their doors open and employees paid during the pandemic.
What the media is choosing not to point out during this pivotal time in American business survival is that they are one of the first companies to raise minimum hourly wage “well above the federal minimum wage and has since raised its minimum wages ten times over the last eleven years,” USA Today reports.
Beginning October 1, Hobby Lobby is employing hard-working Americans a starting pay of $17 an hour!
So if you are someone who wants your freedom of speech to be protected, your reproductive choices to remain private, and a job that pays you fairly for your valuable time then consider supporting your local Hobby Lobby.
If you are a liberal who hates all of these things then boycott the only craft store that is sure to have everything you need for your next project.
The best part is you have the freedom to shop wherever you want to.
