If Your Child Suffers From Insomnia, Their Bedroom Might Be To Blame

Just Say No To Screens:  Alright, you’ve heard us talk about it before, but watching movies or surfing the net before bed is not a good plan!

The blue light really does mess with the brain and cause your body to stay awake.

Try and limit screens to at least an hour before bed.

And if your child does happen to have a TV in their room, at least set it up where they can’t turn it on at night.

Parents has some other helpful tips:

“Put any of your child’s devices “to bed” in another room an hour before your kid hits the sack. This includes tablets, laptops, phones, and remote controls, so TVs can’t be turned on. Not only may watching an exciting YouTube video or texting with a friend keep your child awake, but simply staring at the bright screen at night is a bad idea.”
