Knowing The Right Approach To Toddler Discipline

  1. Don’t give up

No matter how frustrated you feel about your child’s misbehavior, don’t vent about it in front of him.

Vent to your spouse, family member, or a friend. Stick to the other guidelines discussed above when dealing with your toddler.

While we all want to wail in desperation at times, doing so can undermine your position as the boss and cause them to lose respect for you as an authority figure.

Hang in there. Every parent of a toddler has moments where they feel like getting into the fetal position while they wait for back up, but we must stand strong; little tiny minds depend on it.
