When Netflix released their Cuties film – the world became outraged at the exploitation of 11-year old girls.
The film showed barely dressed young teens dancing for adults while performing sexualized moves.
In fact, conservative legislators were so horrified at the film – they’ve called the Department of Justice to investigate – yet liberals remain silent.
Defenders of the film claim the entire purpose was to draw attention to how girls are treated as sexual objects and how it’s not good.
But to prove that point – they didn’t have to have young girls groomed and exploited for predators to see!
And of course, Netflix (which already has their array of trashy films) defends the movie Cuties and even encourages more people to watch it.
The Hill reported:
“It’s an award-winning film and a powerful story about the pressure young girls face on social media and from society more generally growing up — and we’d encourage anyone who cares about these important issues to watch the movie,” the spokesman said.”
What a bunch of nonsense!
Clearly you don’t have to sexually abuse or exploit girls for a profit to show the pressure young girls face in society.
Their defense is absurd.
Conservative lawmakers agree – and are calling for swift action to look into enforcing federal law which prohibits sexual exploitation of minors.
Senator Ted Cruz was especially vocal and wrote a letter to Attorney General William Barr.
Fox News reported:
“The film routinely fetishizes and sexualizes these pre-adolescent girls as they perform dances simulating sexual conduct in revealing clothing, including at least one scene with partial child nudity,” Cruz wrote in a letter to Attorney General William Barr Friday.
Cruz continued: “These scenes in and of themselves are harmful. And it is likely that the filming of this movie created even more explicit and abusive scenes, and that pedophiles across the world in the future will manipulate and imitate this film in abusive ways.”
The sad part is – so many of the liberals behind the “me too” movement are completely silent. Even worse, actually defending the Cuties flick.
Leftists claim the film is “artistic” and think conservatives are blowing it out of proportion.
There is nothing artistic about exploiting young children for a profit.
And who knows what psychological trauma these young girls faced during filming – being forced to repeat the same scenes over and over again.
Adults have the responsibility to protect children, but it seems like the left abandons children yet again.
The moral decline of America is picking up at a rapid pace, as every single adult should have a problem with this film.
Sadly, all this does is give sexual predators more of a boost – as if watching young children dance for adults is normal.
We’ve got to do better protecting our children against predators, but instead, yet again, Netflix throws them out to the wolves all in the name of “entertainment.”
