One Mom Chose Life At The Highest Cost Imaginable

The left has told the world time and time again that human life is not inherently valuable through abortion “rights.”

This movement of death and destruction has paved the way for increasingly abhorrent human behavior; and those who stand against it are mocked, shamed, or even worse.

It can be dangerous to face-off with immoral people, and one mom who tried paid the ultimate price.

Becoming pregnant gives the parents much to think about- where will the baby be born, who will provide childcare, and how much will our expenses increase?

All these concerns often don’t weigh to the joy experienced by an expecting mother.

McKayla Winston, 21, was 9 months pregnant when her life was tragically taken by the hands of the baby’s father.

What was Winston’s transgression against her boyfriend?

She refused to get an abortion, wanting to bring her child into the world.

Activist Mommy reports:

Now, a Mississippi district attorney claims that 21-year-old McKayla Winston, who was 9 months pregnant, was murdered by her boyfriend because she refused to abort or adopt out the baby.”

This despairing news came only weeks after the heartbreaking story of 21-year-old University of Mississippi student Alexandria Kostial was murdered in July.

The ex-boyfriend, and father of Kostial’s 17-week-old baby in the womb, Brandon Theesfeld was arrested and charged with the murder.

According to the Daily Mail:

Her sorority sisters knew she was pregnant and that she had told Brandon. He was really upset about it, that it would ruin his life and his future.”

So to prevent a life, these so-called “men” took a life, in order to make their existence more convenient.

A growing concern among young men is their favorable attitude toward abortion in exchange for a more lucrative and successful life, as Mommy Underground has previously reported.

Rightfully so, Mississippi charges the perpetrator for taking a life inside the womb as well as out, so both young men will be facing double homicides.

The nearly due body of McKayla Winston was found on a dark and dreary road in Holmes County on July 1st, reports the Clarion-Ledger, only 3 days before she was supposed to meet her little one.

Terrence Sample, 33, was charged with the murder of his girlfriend right before he was to appear in court for a paternity test, LifeSite News reports.

District Attorney Akillie Malone-Oliver said, according to the Clarion-Ledger:

There’s substantial evidence the two were together through their location and communications. Witnesses spotted his vehicle and Makayla’s at the same time period. … He first denied contact with Makayla, but that was proved to be false. … There’s the possible DNA and article of clothing.”

It seems this evidence, along with the knowledge that Sample was obviously upset that this new life was set to disrupt his, should put him locked up tight for a long time.

The stories of Winston and Kostial are a piece of the despairing state the liberal mindset has put the country in.

Bringing a baby into this world should never be viewed as an inconvenience, but a blessing of the highest degree.

These women tried to do what they were created for and they were stopped in a dark and gruesome way.

Mississippi has been under attack for their political stand against abortion with fetal-heartbeat legislation; where abortions cannot be performed when a fetal heartbeat is detected around six weeks gestation.

They are also one of 29 states that recognize a baby in the womb as another victim when a pregnant mother is assaulted or killed.

Legislation is important, but it is not enough. People need to take a stand for the sanctity of life, professing to humanity that every life has intrinsic value.
