Political Tensions Are Heightened After Capitol Is Infiltrated By Protestors

The mainstream media is bought and paid for by liberal leaning enthusiasts who use their power to usurp the truth for political gain.

During President Trump’s entire term, words have been twisted and stories have been warped to put Trump and his administration in a bad light.

Was the coverage of the Capitol protest any different?

On January 6, 2021, countless United States citizens convened around the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. as Congress counted the electoral college votes from this recent presidential election.

As Mommy Underground has previously reported, the rally for voter integrity and transparency within the government had been planned by a conservative organization prior to the event.

Reports vary on the number of attendants at the rally, but the endless footage captured from the day suggest the numbers were far into the thousands, with Time and Fox 2 Now News putting the attendees in the tens of thousands.

However, the crowd contained a mesh of freedom-loving individuals and those looking to make a bad name for conservatives.

One participant, Carol Logreco, said the feel of the protest was “festive”, but that she saw “agitators” who she believed infiltrated the event, according to The Epoch Times.

The New Orleans native came to “support freedom and the ability to have free and fair elections.

Logreco echoes the fears of many Americans hoping to protect the Constitution of the US:

“[We] feel like we’re losing a lot of our rights, and that we’re on the verge of becoming more of a socialist or Marxist society. You can see the indoctrination of our children and students and in our communities, and I really felt like this was the last real stance to speak up before we don’t have a chance to do that anymore.”

At around 2:45 in the afternoon, a couple hours after President Trump spoke at the Ellipse, a group of men and women breached the doors of the Capitol building striking fear into all those who watched the event at home and all the men and women trying to protect the sacred government building and its inhabitants.

While protestors were inside the Capitol building one woman, Ashli Babbitt, attempted to breach the Congressional chambers that was currently in session.

She was shot by a police officer in plain clothes. Babbitt was later confirmed deceased at a local hospital where she was taken after the incident.

To be fatally harmed during a rally to embrace integrity and the Constitution is an outrage.

In addition, a police officer was said to have collapsed at the station following injuries he sustained while in a scuffle with agitators at the protest, according to NPR.

The loss of an officer is sorrowful on any account, and the violence of that day has rightfully been condemned.

The media is pinning the violent actions chosen by extreme individuals on President Trump, saying that he incited the violence with his speech at the Ellipse.

It is hard to see what parts of his speech the left feels led individuals to destroy property within the Capitol or harm others.

Trump’s encouragement at the Ellipse included, “We want to be so respectful of everybody,” and to “walk down to the Capitol” to “cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women.”

The abhorrent actions by violent individuals hiding behind Trump banners is a stain on all the men and women who came to peacefully object to the overreach of government and fraudulent election allegations that weren’t given due process.

Those who attended are disheartened by the misrepresentation of protestors in the media.

Elizabeth Rowell who was at the rally in Washington D.C. said, according to The Epoch Times:

“I feel like the media makes it look like the … people that went inside have now made the rest of us outside look like we’re a bunch of hoodlums. But we didn’t do anything. We were all there just to be patriotic and support our president.”

The supporters of the Constitution are ironically being called an angry mob when over the past year liberals violently protested Trump and controversial shootings killing innocent people, destroying countless homes and private businesses, while terrorizing anyone who spoke against them, as Mommy Underground has previously reported.

In an obvious attempt to maintain Trump as the villain in American society, Twitter has even deleted his positive tweets encouraging protestors:

“I know your pain. I know your hurt. But you have to go home now.”

Trump called his supporters “very special”, but encouraged them by saying, “we can’t play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace.”

The media and all their liberal sheep have demonized our president, twisting his words for political gain and dividing the nation so that those favoring nationalism and the Constitution are portrayed as the bullies.

With the presidency going to Joe Biden conservatives are going to have some trying days ahead, but the fight is not over.

There are individuals and organizations who are going to actively pursue justice and voter integrity so that the next election is ethical and fair – we just have to pray the country is not run into the ground until then.
