Pro-Life Actor’s Comments Serve As A Warning To Us All

The abortion debate has reached new heights in recent weeks.

With the tragic passage of the “Reproductive Health Care Act” in New York, now full-term babies are being regarded as “disposable.”

And one Hollywood actor – a rare pro-life voice in a liberal industry – made some comments that should send chills down anyone’s spine.

Actor Dean Cain is a conservative and has shared his pro-life views publicly – especially after his experience filming the movie Gosnell:  The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.

He reacted to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s signing of the bill which allows for late-term abortions past 24 weeks of pregnancy – including full-term babies.

In fact, Cuomo lit up the World Trade Center in “celebration” of this so-called achievement.

Cain’s comments are shocking – because in light of New York’s new law, what he says is completely true.

He says that under this sickening law, serial murderer Kermit Gosnell would not have been convicted of his crimes or sentenced to life in prison for murder.

The star was interviewed on Fox and Friends as the Gosnell movie is set to be released to DVD on February 5th.

Mommy Underground reported on the importance of the Gosnell film when it was released in theaters last year, and Dean Cain encourages everyone to take another look.

Cain says that in states in which Gosnell “practiced medicine,” the current law is that abortions are illegal after 24 weeks. “After that point in time, unless it was extreme circumstances, you weren’t able to perform an abortion. And [Gosnell] was doing this well beyond that — a lot.”

“But, that would be legal for New York law and what’s being proposed in Vermont,” Cain commented in the interview.

This week, a similar bill was proposed in the state of Virginia by Democrat Kathy Tran.  It would have allowed for the murder of a preborn child up until the moment of birth, with only one doctor signing off on the case.

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam – unbelievably a former pediatrician – has come under fire for sick comments that suggested infanticide by leaving a baby to die after being born alive if that was what doctors and the mother decided.

The bill was tabled – for now – by a Republican majority in the Virginia House of Delegates.  But New York will not be the last state to pass this evil law.

Kermit Gosnell’s heinous crimes – and those of other late-term abortionists — should be remembered by every American and should serve as a warning of what may come if other states follow New York’s lead.

Gosnell was convicted of three counts of murder, although he actually killed hundreds more viable babies.

If they were born alive, he would snip their spinal cords with scissors.  Thousands of baby body parts were found in his offices – in freezers, buckets, and milk jugs.  And Gosnell’s former patients and employees have shared their horror stories about the evil they witnessed.

Cain, for one, was deeply affected by his work on the film and is spreading the word to wake everyone up to the horrors of abortion.

“The worst thing I learned [during Gosnell’s production] was what actually takes place during a late-term abortion.  I did not have any idea and I thought I was a pretty knowledgeable guy — and it’s gruesome.” Cain said on Fox and Friends.

Conservative actor Robert Davi also took to social media to protest New York’s new law.  He is slated to take a part in a new movie about the Roe v. Wade decision later this year.

“I’m astounded. I don’t understand what’s happening to this country.  I am grieving for these children. I am grieving for the women,” said Davi, according to LifeSite News.

Now that the Gosnell film is being released on DVD, Cain encourages everyone who has not seen it to watch the film – and really take in the lessons we should have learned from Kermit Gosnell’s crimes against women and children.

These crimes will now be legal in New York and any other state that follows suit.

“I just encourage people to go watch the film, ‘Gosnell,’ and then make a decision,” said Cain on Fox and Friends, “and if you’re not affected by that — I don’t know.  [Gosnell] is a man who had his own kids. He justified it as not seeing these children as children.”

We applaud Dean Cain, Robert Davi, and other conservative actors who go against the majority belief of liberal Hollywood, and suggest that everyone who has not seen Gosnell should do so upon its DVD release.

Did you see the Gosnell movie?  Do you think crimes like his will become accepted in states like New York that pass horrific anti-life laws?  Leave us your comments.
