Leftist schools are determined to push a radical LGBT agenda – and they are using teachers to do their dirty work.
While many teachers happily oblige and even agree with the LGBT lifestyle – not every teacher is on board.
And when one school pushed “transgender” and critical race theory propaganda – this teacher stood up – and you won’t believe what she did next.
Laura Morris was a Christian school teacher who loved her job.
Sadly, her school is located in Loudoun County…
… a hotbed for liberal policies that continues to make national news.
Most recently, Loudoun County told teachers they had to refer to a child by their “preferred pronoun” – and allow them to use whatever locker room or restroom corresponds with their gender identity.
At a local school board meeting, parents pushed back, and even students got up to speak begging the school board not to go this direction.
But of course, the school board didn’t listen – well at least not the majority of them.
In a 7-2 vote, the school board approved a new “transgender” policy – which will endanger their students in unconscionable ways.
Teachers were warned they must call a student by whatever pronoun or name the child decides – and if the teacher fails to bend to the will of the student – they’ll face consequences.
The Christian Post reported:
“The use of gender-neutral pronouns is appropriate. Inadvertent slips in the use of names or pronouns may occur; however, staff or students who intentionally and persistently refuse to respect a student’s gender identity by using the wrong name and gender pronoun are in violation of this policy.”
Imagine being a Christian teacher and being forced to call a little girl a boy, and use a male name instead of her own name?
For Laura Morris – this new policy was the final straw.
She knew in her heart she simply could not continue teaching in the public school system knowing what it had become.
So, she quit.
But not before she made a bold statement, letting the school board know exactly where she stood.
Faithwire reported:
“School board, I quit,” she continued, clearly emotional. “I quit your trainings and I quit being a cog in a machine that tells me to push highly politicized agendas on our must vulnerable constituents: the children. I will find employment elsewhere. I encourage all parents and staff in this county to flood the private schools.”
Bravo!
So many teachers who may even be against what is happening in the public schools refuse to stand up for students.
Likely because they fear losing their jobs, as schools have made it clear they will punish any teacher or coach who gets in their way.
But Laura Morris knew she was paying a price by standing up to the school board and quitting her job – but to her – it was worth it.
It takes a brave soul to stand up to the pro-LGBT machine.
