A shocking video was captured of a school resource officer using brutal force on an 11-year old girl.
And once you see the way he handled this young child, you’re bound to be horrified.
The girl was said to be guilty of being mildly disruptive during school and doing things like standing up on the bus and taking an extra milk in the cafeteria.
As a result, she wasn’t asked to stay after class or sit in detention – a school officer decided these acts should have her arrested.
A shocking video was released of the school officer violently approaching the 11-year old girl trying to place her hands behind her back.
The girl was shocked, and clearly startled and could be seen trying to cooperate but was noticeably in pain as the man jolted her around like a rag doll.
Despite tears and screams that she is hurting and in pain and willing to cooperate, the officer uses extreme force and shoves her against a brick wall.
The terrified 11-year old girl could be heard sobbing in pain on the video, as the school resource officer violently shoves her to the ground.
During the video, the officer could be heard screaming over and over again at the girl to “stop resisting” with the girl sobbing phrases like “I’m not” and “You’re hurting me!”
The Washington Post reported:
“I’m not resisting,” she told him. “Get off of me — you’re hurting me.”
At one point, a school administrator asked Christensen to let the student stand up, but he refused.
“Officer Christensen, she is not a threat to yourself or others at this moment,” the school official said. “You are not going to use excessive force to get this done.”
Christensen responded that she was indeed a threat and continued to press his forearm into the back of her neck.”
At first, the belligerent officer defended his actions insisting he was in the right.
But after an internal investigation, he was forced to resign from his position due to the violence he bestowed upon this young child.
Cleary this man struggles with power issues if he thinks taking an extra milk and standing up on the bus earn him the right to physically attack a sixth-grade old girl.
This is yet another example of an adult with authority abusing their power and harming young children.
As Mommy Underground previously reported, one teacher publicly humiliated a boy with ADHD, forcing him in a time-out and making him face his peers with tears streaming down his face.
Those who are entrusted with the honor and responsibility to care for children should use it as an opportunity to build them up and protect them, not cause emotional damage that could scar them for life.
