School Teacher Slams Police In Indoctrinating Assignment

Teachers are ripping parental rights from the hands of concerned families.

Kids used to go to school to learn how to read and write, then slowly over the decades public education institutions took it upon themselves to instill a belief system in children.

Sadly, those beliefs are disrespectful, anti-American, and detrimental to the hearts and minds of our youth.

Police have been under fire in recent months- both literally and figuratively- for alleged racial discrimination and use of excessive force.

While every police officer is not perfect, our brave boys in blue work tirelessly to make our home and community a safer place.

Liberals pushing to “defund the police” want to strip the respect and dignity from men and women who devote their lives to protect the very snobs that chastise them; no matter how difficult they make it.

And now they are trying to indoctrinate our children with this backwards ideology.

In a horrendous display of public education overreach, a teacher at Westchester County High School created an assignment containing a cartoon comparing police officers to Klansmen and slave traders, reports the New York Post.

And this is supposed to be from an intelligent, educated person that we entrust our children with alone!

The topic was “European Colonization of America” and the “Origins of American Society/Conflict/Power”- neither of which should pertain to a modern-day police officer.

The Post explains the repulsive display:

On the paper was a five-frame cartoon depicting a Black man being knelt on by a slave trader, then an overseer, a Klansman, a segregation-era sheriff, and finally a police officer resembling Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis officer awaiting trial for the death of George Floyd.”

The paper came to light when Westlake mom Anita Paternostro was shown the assignment by her daughter.

Paternostro couldn’t believe her eyes and couldn’t let this teacher get away with degrading police officers to children without any parental consent.

The alarmed mother who reported the offense to the New York Post said:

My daughter showed me the paper. I said, `What is this?! You’ve got to be kidding me!This cartoon compares the police to the KKK. It’s an attack on the police.”

Paternostro did not delay sending letters to Mount Pleasant School District Superintendent Kurt Kotes and Westlake Principal Keith Schenker.

Enough is enough,” the mother told The Post. “This cartoon is disturbing. We have to respect the men in blue who protect us… We don’t need a teacher brainwashing my kids. I’ll teach my kids about what’s right and what’s wrong.”

It wasn’t only the parent who thought the cartoon was wrong.

Nicole, the Westchester high school student who showed her mother the assignment had this to say:

The cartoon was disgusting. It compared the police with all the terrible people in history. It was not fair. It wasn’t right.’’

Sadly, liberal bullies have not let Nicole rest, harassing her for pointing out the folly of their ways.

The superintendent did respond to Pasternostro saying they will investigate the lesson plan and take legal action if necessary.

It is not okay to teach our children unfounded and wavering political ideologies behind our back!

We have seen public education turn more and more to the left over the year, making an unsafe environment for conservative values and traditional families.

It is time the lesson plans stuck to the basic- reading, writing, and constitutional rights.
