According to the head of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) – giving parents the right to know what their children are being taught will lead to “war.”
Outraged over the Florida Parental Rights in Education bill, which is now signed into law, AFT lashed out at parents in the worst way ever.
And just wait until you hear the ridiculous accusations being launched at those who oppose the LGBT agenda.
AFT president Randi Weingarten is so mad young students can’t be taught LGBT propaganda – that she had the audacity to claim this “hateful” bill is how “wars start.”
The Epoch Times reported:
“This is propaganda. This is misinformation,” AFT President Randi Weingarten said during an interview on the Rick Smith podcast last week.
“This is the way in which wars start. This is the way in which hatred starts.”
No, Randi.
The only “propaganda” is what the leftist educators you support are trying to peddle to children.
Randi continued on her verbal assault against conservative parents and switched gears to the COVID pandemic – trying to shame parents who “dared” to demand schools be open during COVID-19.
Yeah… maybe because it was ridiculous to shut down an entire nation, close schools, and force kids to wear masks.
OF COURSE parents wanted schools opened!
But teacher unions don’t care what parents want.
It’s clear in their minds – parents are the enemy.
In fact, teacher unions have long opposed parents – but their visceral hatred continues to intensify as conservative heroes like Ron DeSantis sign bills into law limiting their power – and restoring it rightfully back to parents.
The tide suddenly has turned now hasn’t it!
Teacher unions cannot stand to know parents have their natural rights to be in charge of their own children’s lives restored.
Unions want to call the shots – and keep parents out.
And while it works in some leftist states like California – thankfully there are still states fighting back and refusing to be being bullied by union thugs.
If the American Federation of Teachers really thinks parents are going to sit down and be quiet while leftists continue to indoctrinate their children with LGBT propaganda – they’ll learn real quick that parents are fed up and aren’t staying silent anymore.
For far too long, teachers’ unions have wielded their power to do harm.
From using the funds of pro-life teachers to donate to abortion giants like Planned Parenthood, to advocating for critical race theory in schools, teachers’ unions are used to getting their way – until now.
Let’s hope more people continue to stand up to their antics and let them know the days of having control over students are numbered – and a new tide is rolling in.
