Schools continue to terrorize students by forcing them to wear masks all day long.
But in Florida, Governor DeSantis made one thing clear – not on his watch.
And once you hear the incredible way he stood with parents against the tyrannical reign of school admins, you’re bound to be encouraged.
Although schools love to force students to wear masks – Florida allows parents to opt their children out – for any reason.
That should settle it, and this is how it should be everywhere.
Parents should have control over their own children, not school admins.
But rogue school boards are defying the Florida Governor – and still forcing students to wear masks – even if their parents object.
But DeSantis isn’t letting them get away with it, in fact, he’s even stated he’ll withhold their pay if they don’t fall in line.
Changing America reported:
“School board members of districts have willingly and knowingly violated the rights of parents by denying them the option to make health care decisions for their children – a blatant violation of the Parents’ Bill of Rights, which Governor DeSantis signed into law on June 29, 2021,” the Board of Education said.
If the school boards fail to comply, the Florida Department of Education will withhold “an amount equal to 1/12 of the total annual compensation of the school board members who voted to impose the unlawful mask mandates” on a monthly basis.”
Incredible.
DeSantis continues to use his power for good to fight back against liberal activists who have infiltrated the schools.
When LGBT activists demanded boys play in girls’ sports – DeSantis refused.
Despite intimidation threats from outside forces to get him to change his mind, he held his ground.
In contrast, Biden is still working overtime to force schools to ignore the wishes of the parents – and do whatever he says.
Biden’s obsessed with masks, continuing to demand them for any family traveling on a plane, bus, subway, etc.
And schools just love to use their “power” to force students to wear them.
School is tough enough already…
… and having a child sit in a hot mask breathing in their recycled air for an entire school day is just cruel.
One little girl tried to make the best of it, and wore her “Jesus loves me mask” …
… but then got in trouble by her principle who claimed her mask was “offensive.”
Absolute madness.
It’s no wonder parents continue to yank their children out of the public school system and homeschool them instead.
We’ll see if more governors start warning the schools to back off the mask mandate, and let parents and families have the freedom to make decisions that are best suitable for their own households.
