Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has shown his faithfulness to protect girls by signing legislation prohibiting males from competing in female sports.
LGBT activists were furious, determined to make DeSantis change his mind.
And when threats of boycotting Florida emerged from the National Collegiate Athletic Association, DeSantis doubled down in his support to protect girls, and just wait until you hear what line he fired back.
DeSantis wanted to make it clear – Florida would not be bullied by left-wing LGBT activists.
Even though outside groups still tried to force their own agenda and cry out claims of “discrimination,” DeSantis held firm.
And when asked his thoughts about possible boycotts – his response was pure genius.
The Daily Wire reported:
“You can’t be cowed by these organizations, or particularly by woke corporations from doing the right thing. And so my view was throughout this whole time, we have to protect our girls, it is discriminatory to force them to compete against biological males,” DeSantis continued.
And so if the price of having a tournament is that I have to deny equal opportunity to hundreds of thousands of young girl and women athletes throughout Florida, I am much more willing to stand with the girls. And to hell with these events.”
Now this is a governor who has the guts to use his position of influence for good, and protect girls from radical LGBT activists.
Biden has fully embraced the “transgender” agenda, demanding public schools allow biological males to use the same restrooms and locker rooms as females and participate in female sports if they simply “identify” as a female.
Backed by the President of the United States, already leftist schools are moving even further to the left with their radical agenda, leaving a trail of casualties behind them.
Students no longer feel safe attending school, as young girls are literally being forced against their will to undress next to boys.
Teachers who speak out are getting punished or fired.
It’s no wonder so many moms have yanked their children out of the public school system and decided to homeschool them instead.
Thankfully there are courageous legislators and governors around the country who are putting their foot down and saying enough is enough.
The government will always try and take more power away from the people until somebody tries to stop them.
With the most radical pro-LGBT administration in history running the show, parents are desperate for their states to use what little power they have left to stop the madness.
Cheers to Governor DeSantis for standing up for girls, and refusing to be bullied or swayed by threats from outside corporations.
Young girls need to know somebody cares enough to fight for them.
