There are a lot of uncertainties with the shift in power within our nation after this last election.
Among the many concerns there are with a liberal president in the Oval Office, is whether he is going to promote life through legislation.
Although we will have a bumpy road ahead fighting for all the unborn children whose voices are being silenced, there is one state that is taking the battle to the front lines with success!
Elizabeth Johnston reports:
“Missouri has become the first state in the United States where there are no active facilities performing abortions.”
Thankfully, there has been many abortion facilities around the nation that have limited their operations because of COVID-19 precautions.
Some states, such as Alabama as Time reports, worked to suspend all abortions during the pandemic, but Missouri succeeded on a large scale first.
According to The Washington Examiner, a total of 45 abortion facilities in the state were shut down or stopped killing children in the womb as a service.
Unfortunately, this does not mean that it is illegal to perform abortions in Missouri.
Pro-life organization, Operation Rescue, reported in “The Status of American Facilities in 2020” that Planned Parenthood (the last abortion facility in Missouri) has not done an abortion in months and has no appointments for the “foreseeable future.”
But true to form, Planned Parenthood is still doing all they can to continue the senseless deaths of the unborn by sending patients who want an abortion across the Mississippi River to Illinois.
Operation Rescue President Troy Newman said in a statement:
“While the RHS Planned Parenthood remains open and licensed for abortions, we confirmed that none are being done there. That means this facility is currently acting only as an abortion referral center. There is no operational abortion facility in the State of Missouri, making it the first Abortion-Free State at this time.”
Why did the last facility performing unspeakable acts against the young halt in the Show-Me state?
They were reported to be in violation of Health and Senior Services regulations.
So, they were mistreating the elderly as well as the young – and the left still blindly supports Planned Parenthoods every action!
Missouri is not only the first state to completely halt abortions since Roe v. Wade, but they have continued to fight for legislation to save as many unborn children as they can.
The current law states that abortions are only allowed to be performed in the first 8-weeks of pregnancy and in the case of rape or incest.
It’s a start!
Many states, such as New York and Texas, abortion facilities are decreasing, but in 13 states, such as California, Michigan, Alabama, and Virginia, facilities have increased, according to Operation Rescue.
The nation is still far from placing value on every human being, inside the womb and out, but those in favor of an ethical and moral society are not going to stop their efforts, no matter how hard this administration tries to muzzle them.
