Just when you think California couldn’t get any more bizarre, politicians introduced another bill and this time their gunning for retail stores.
Hoping to completely eradicate any sense of male and female – they’re now forcing stores to do away with girls and boys’ toy and clothing sections – or face a $1,000 fine.
All in the name of “gender equality” – just wait until you hear about their latest plan to shame children into abandoning their biological gender.
When shopping for clothing for a little girl – moms head to the girl’s section.
It makes sense.
Here they’ll find an array of dresses, tights, sweaters, and feminine clothing.
Just like moms with boys head to the boy’s section to find clothes with spaceships and dinosaurs as opposed to hearts and unicorns.
Sure – there are infant clothes that could be gender neutral in shades of yellows and gray – and there’s nothing wrong with children wearing them.
Just like lots of little girls are interested in engineering kits, building blocks, and cars – which again is fine!
But, California seeks to make everything into a massive political issue – even when there is no issue to be found.
And as if retail stores weren’t hit hard enough – now California is trying to get them to undertake yet another mandate – or face a steep fine.
The California Globe reported:
“The bill would specify that a retail department store that offers childcare items for sale is required to maintain one undivided area of its sales floor where the majority of the childcare items being offered shall be displayed, regardless of whether a particular childcare item has been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys.
In addition, a retail department store that offers children’s clothing for sale, as well as toys for sale, would be required to maintain one undivided area of its sales floor where the majority of the children’s clothing being offered shall be displayed, regardless of whether a particular article of children’s clothing has been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys. The bill defines the terms “childcare item,” “clothing,” and “toy.”
Of course – all of this stems from their absolute obsession with making the world “gender neutral” in hopes to completely eradicate children from identifying as being a boy or a girl.
Instead of passing legislation to stop “transgender” sex offenders from assaulting little girls in store bathrooms – California is choosing to waste everyone’s time with a ridiculous piece of legislation like this.
They’re even trying to force online retailers from California to have a section simply labeled “kids” “unisex” or “gender neutral.”
As if browsing online through hundreds of items isn’t cumbersome enough!
Make no mistake – when leftist politicians have power – they’ll do anything to go against the traditional family unit.
There is nothing shameful about children knowing they are born either male or female, and choosing to shop in departments geared towards them.
But if liberals have their way – children will continue to be confused about what their gender is – with the world shifting towards “gender neutral” everything.
