If there was ever any doubt at the lack of regard college-aged feminists have towards babies, this latest public exchange tells it all.
While some can argue that an unborn baby “isn’t really a baby”, even the most radical of feminists seem to agree that a born and living baby is a living human being.
Which is why the comments from a girl who was asked what should happen to a baby who is born after surviving a botched abortion are beyond horrific.
Students for Life of America decided to go into the belly of the beast (college campuses) to combat the lies that many leftist activists are pushing on children.
Titled literally the “Lies Feminists Tell” tour, Kristan Hawkins was recently at Boston University when she had an exchange with a college student on what defines a baby.
Hawkins tried to use the parallel example of a baby who crossed the border and was dying was a baby just as a baby who survived a botched abortion was a baby.
Fox News reported:
“Do you think that children that are apprehended at the border that are in U.S. government care…do you think babies who are going to die should be resuscitated and given care?” Hawkins asked.
“Yes,” the student replied.
“Okay. Do you believe that a baby who is born alive during an abortion at Planned Parenthood should get care?” Hawkins followed up.
The student replied, “No.”
Kristan Hawkins continued to try and get the girl to think through her thoughts – asking the girl to explain how one baby is considered a life but the other was not.
The college student didn’t seem to have a good answer, and claimed the baby doesn’t deserve medical care because the doctors already “decided it wasn’t a baby.”
Again, Hawkins attempted to explain to the girl that the baby was born alive after the doctors botched the abortion, and it was a human being.
But still, the college girl refused to acknowledge a baby who was born alive after an abortion was actually a baby, and doubled down on the fact she thinks the baby should not receive healthcare, which as we know would ultimately lead the baby to die.
Sadly, she’s not the only one who thinks this way.
Mommy Underground previously reported the chilling tale of a baby who survived an abortion and abortion workers were told to put the baby in a room, close the door, and let her die… even as the baby wailed in fear and pain.
To attack or neglect a human being in their most vulnerable state is chilling to the core and truly a sign at how far we’ve fallen.
We should be protecting those who are vulnerable and speaking up in their defense.
A baby who survives an abortion has already gone through more trauma in a moment than some human beings endure in a lifetime.
Besides the psychological pain of surviving knowing that the mother chose death, it’s been proven that babies actually feel pain.
And the fact that a woman could stand up and arrogantly claim that a baby who survives an abortion doesn’t deserve medical care is barbaric
