Liberals know the best way they can force through their LGBT agenda is to turn kids against their parents.
While parents have the authority and responsibility to oversee their children – leftist politicians are desperate to control the lives of impressionable children – and keep their parents in the dark.
And in California, a new pro-LGBT law just allowed children to hide the unthinkable from their parents, and just wait until you hear the details.
At an alarming rate, school counselors, and even medical doctors, are trying to insist a minor child should be able to “decide their own gender.”
If a little boy suddenly wants to “become a girl”, instead of encouraging his parents to put him into counseling to deal with whatever is going on – liberal adults actually want to help the child fulfill his wish – and hide it from his parents.
And in California, a new bill allows children to actually do what they want at the doctor’s office, and hide “sensitive services” like abortions and cross-hormone drugs from their parents.
LifeSite News reported:
“According to the language of the bill, A.B. 1184 will “prohibit a health care service plan or health insurer from requiring a protected individual, as defined, to obtain the policyholder, primary subscriber, or other enrollee’s authorization to receive sensitive services or to submit a claim for sensitive services if the protected individual has the right to consent to care.”
Further, “[t]he bill would require the health care service plan or health insurer to direct all communications regarding a protected individual’s receipt of sensitive services directly to the protected individual, and would prohibit the disclosure of that information to the policyholder, primary subscriber, or any plan enrollees without the authorization of the protected individual, as provided.”
Which means essentially – even if a child is on their parent’s insurance, they can receive “sensitive services” (hormone drugs) without their parents even knowing or approving!
And if healthcare providers violate this…
… they’re guilty of a crime.
Imagine… a doctor could be punished for notifying a child’s own mother that a child is seeking hormone treatment.
Teenagers go through a wide rage of emotions during their teenage years, and to think they could make a permanent decision… have their parents pay for it… and not even have to notify them ahead of time is absolute insanity.
But, this is the world we live in.
Parents in other countries are actually facing jail time for trying to stop their child from changing genders.
The attack on the innocence of our children is diabolic.
While typically parents are the ones to speak up at school board meetings and advocate for their children, kids these days are so scared about what’s happening in their schools with “transgender” bathrooms – they’re actually attending school board meetings themselves and BEGGING adults to protect them.
Unconscionable.
But, the left is utterly obsessed with pushing through their agenda – not caring if kids get traumatized in the process.
Of course, if kids end up getting hormone drugs and have regrets later – it’s the parents that will be left to pick up the broken pieces…
… all because adults thought kids should have the “right” to hide life-altering changes to their bodies from their own parents.
California Family Council president Jonathan Keller nailed it when he said:
“It’s deeply concerning that the Legislature and the governor continue to usurp parental authority,” said Keller.
“Parents should be consulted before their minor children are given life-altering medical treatment,” reported LifeSite News.
