Top 10 Ways To Foster A Healthy Body Image In Your Children

  1. Don’t pretend you look like something you’re not.

Have a positive view on the body you have, not the one you think you want. It may seem innocent enough to tease about how thin you look when you’re really not, but that is just masking negativity.

This still says that being thin is what looks good, not that you’re a little thicker and that’s ok too.

Improving your body’s health, and that of your children’s health, is always a good idea, just do it with the right verbiage and intentions.

Eat healthy because you deserve to feel your best, exercise because you can keep up with the things, or ones, you love when you do.

Show, and teach, your children that body image is about perception, not perfection.
